At what age do cats stop losing their baby teeth?

I recently adopted a shelter cat - we didn't get a real estimate on his age. Based on his behavior and general size, we guess he's about a year old. Very recently, however, he lost a molar, and hasn't lost any other teeth in the few months we've had him. So I was wondering - what age do cats stop losing their baby teeth? I realize every cat is different, but I would like to have a more definitive estimate of my kitty's age.

Kittens should have most of their adult teeth by the age of six months. Not to say that some aren't late bloomers. Your cat may have lost an infected tooth. I would take him to the vet just to be safe.
