A 3 month old golen retriever pup losing her teeth?

I have a golden retriever puppy, she%26#039;s 3 months old and she lost 2 of her bottom teeth. I have a male golden and they play together all the time, do you think they might have been ripped out? My male never plays really rough with her, he knows his boundaries %26amp; how to be gentle...however she%26#039;s full of piss and vinegar....

Is her losing teeth this early normal?

Hi!

No it is perfectly normal. My Golden pup is 18 weeks old now and he as been loosing his teeth for quite some time now. He will loose all his teeth even his molars. so don%26#039;t worry even if you see blood. sometimes they do bleed quite a bit. My pup just lost one of his bottom canines and it did bleed quite a bit. Got my husband all nervous! lol My pup is fine so will yours be too!

Reply:she%26#039;s just losing her baby teeth, don%26#039;t panic. and god forbid you step on the ones that fall out. OUCH!
Reply:Yes, she will have permanent ones in no time.
Reply:I would say that it%26#039;s pretty unusual and suggest that you take the puppy to a veterinarian for a full checkup.
Reply:um all puppies lose most of their baby teeth just like us...But less teeth.
Reply:dogs and cats.. like people have baby teeth.. and they fall out.. believe me.. i stepped on one of my cat%26#039;s and boy did i cuss a streak!
Reply:yes it is very normal for a puppie to lose their teeth even at an early age like that. It%26#039;s not from ur other dog.
Reply:It does seem a little early for loosing her milk teeth, but that%26#039;s probably what it is. She will grow in bigger, permanent teeth really soon. You%26#039;ll needs lots of chew toys so those new choppers come through!
Reply:Gosh, I lost my milk teeth at six months BUT now, I have to finest set of choppers .. dunno about early loss but there are surely new ones on the way!!
Reply:Yes! A dog that loses its teeth at 3 months old is normal. Just like us, dogs have baby teeth. Now, take into consideration the fact that dogs also age much more quickly than humans. Just TRY to throw them out when you see any laying around. It%26#039;s not uncommon for dogs to lose teeth without the owners even realizing, because they are often swallowed right away. Also, puppies play %26quot;rough%26quot; with each other all the time. So, yes, this may be when a tooth falls out...or it may be when she%26#039;s eating her food or chewing on a toy.
