When do puppies start losing their baby teeth?

I have a 6 month old shih tzu puppy. when will he start losing his teeth?

It doesnt exactly matter, he will swallow them or spit them out, they are not harmful to your dog, most people dont even notice when their puppy looses its teeth. I have a boxer/pitbull cross big yellow mutt, and i was lucky to find 3 of his teeth! they were soooo tiny, and i noticed the first two because he was chewing on nothing out of no where, and thought he ate something hje shouldnt have, when i took a look, it was his tooth!!!
Reply:He should have lost all of his deciduous (puupy, milk) teeth by now. If he has retained deciduous teeth these can be removed at the veterinarians when he is under anesthesia for his up coming neutering which should be done soon :)
Reply:Probably already has lost some. They usually swallow them and you wont even notice.
Reply:He probably has about a month ago already. They usually start losing baby teeth by 5 months. you usually don%26#039;t even notice when they do. Because new ones come in right under the old ones.
