Do you brush your dog's teeth?

I haven't been, and today, the vet cleaned her teeth for the first time. She had to have three of them pulled (luckily they were in the back, and it won't affect her eating). She's only four. I didn't think she was old enough to be losing teeth. I feel so bad. I know it could have been prevented. I hope she'll forgive me.

Do you brush your dog's teeth?
It's something I really, really need to start doing. I have before, but not in quite a while.
Reply:Yes I do to prevent dental issues
Reply:Yes I try to as best I can. There are many pet dental hygiene products at pet stores. It cuts down on plaque, and my vet said it also helps with gingivitis.
Reply:I have to give mine dental bones instead. They won't let me near them with their toothbrushes , but they love the dental bones.
Reply:it is recommended to brush your dogs' teeth

some of the treats sold say they clean teeth but it's not the same as brushing
Reply:no but i give my dogs fresh bones and detal bones daily to help keep them clean, my vet says my dog have great teeth.
Reply:it's something i've been considering. my dog has terrible dog breath!

anyway, ropes help, they chew on them and it helps to remove plaque and all that, they also make toys that are specially designed to remove teeth funk. bones can help too. go to petsmart and ask what they suggest.
Reply:yes i do
Reply:No, you don't need to. Dogs have tounges that produce a syliva that kills bacteria. A major advantage for dogs!
Reply:Yes, to prevent issues just like that. I do it everyday, but every other day is probably fine.
Reply:Yes I do because I have seen my mom's dogs' teeth deteriorate from a life of no brushing.

I got my golden used to it while she was a puppy so that it wouldn't be a problem in the future.
Reply:My mom would clean her dogs teeth every day when she brushed her's. It's perfectly normal to brush you dogs teeth.
Reply:The person who said you don't need to is wrong! You should brush them if at all possible, because they can develop severe dental problems. If you are not able to, then make sure they get bones on a fairly regular basis to help clean their teeth. Also, make sure your vet checks there teeth during regular visits, so any possible developing issue can be corrected before it is too late.
Reply:Yes =) he needs clean teeth right? =)
Reply:You disappoint me. I always keep my dogs teeth well brushed. Apart from anything else, it makes them more valuable when I sell them to the local Korean restaurant.

My puppy's teeth are coming out, is this normal?

My puppy is about six months old, has had all his shots and healthy bill from the vet. Recently the last two days, he has been losing teeth... Should I be worried? Is this normal?

He chews on stuffed toys a lot and bones for puppy chewing. Advice ? I am worried about him.

My puppy's teeth are coming out, is this normal?
Yes, its normal.

Deciduous teeth are baby teeth that come out by around 4-6 months.

By a year, if the baby teeth are still present, there's a higher chance of dental disease because of food particles that can get stuck in those teeth.

But losing the teeth is completely normal and healthy. Best thing to do is NOT GIVE BONES but try something called a Nylabone. Dogs can't ingest them (so therefore they can't get intestinal blockages) and they come in varieties which your dog will love.
Reply:Perfectly normal. All puppies lose their baby teeth and grow adult teeth right away. No need to worry :)
Reply:Just like humans, puppies are getting permanent teeth as well.
Reply:He is losing his babyteeth.. Nothing to worry about.

Be happy! Celebrate! This means no more biting! yay! lol
Reply:My puppy did the same thing. I was very alarmed when I began to notice loose teeth in his crate and blood stains on her toys! However it is very normal, and all her fallen teeth are replaced by new set. We have kept her baby teeths as souvenir..

I think toys actually helped her (stuffed animals, homemade socks toy, nylabones, kongs etc..) lose her teeth faster.
Reply:thats good! don't forget that puppy teething doesnt hurt like it does human babies and to not let him bite you. dont give him rawhide, it expands in their tummys and can hurt them.
Reply:Puppies have baby teeth and Adult teeth.

They fall out around 6 months like normal.

He is chewing on a lot of things because he teething.

Don't let anyone tell you puppies don't feel discomfort when they teeth. Dogs just don't show pain like humans do. Dogs can just take a certain amount of pain before they actually whine but they still feel just as much pain as a baby teething. they're just not vocal about it. So sometimes they tend to chew anything. Like your shoes ,socks whatever they can find to give them relief.Just like babies puppies need to chew. Working at pet co doesn't make you an expert on animals its a retail store not a vets office.

You can get enzymatically treated raw hides that digest better in dogs than store bought. Just regular nylon chew bones are fine for him.

No need to worry about him. he sounds like a regular normal puppy.
Reply:No worries!! Every puppie loses its baby teeth. When they are between the ages of 4-8 mos. they go through a stage called "teething" where they chew anything they can because of the sensations going on in their mouth. It is good that you have puppy chewing toys to help in this stage. And as they play with those toys you will notice blood on some of the toys, this is perfectly normal and all part of the teething process. Another thing is that if you notice a tooth missing in your puppy's mouth, but you have not found a tooth in the kennel or on the floor, he/she probably swallowed it accidentaly and don't worry this is also perfectly normal. Don't worry about it your puppy will be fine.

It's a good thing you're concerned though. Hope this eases your anxiety. Good luck with your little guy, I'm sure he'll give you loads of good memories for years to come. :)
Reply:Totally!! They are just like kids. They chew more when they are puppies because their adult teeth are breaking through the gums. enjoy your puppy!!
Reply:Just like when we are little we loose our teeth and get adult teeth, so do puppies. He'll be fine.
Reply:Your puppy is loosing its baby teeth and will grow adult teeth. This is very normal. The good thing is now he won't have those very sharp baby teeth.

Is it normal for older cats to lose their teeth?

i have 2 cats that are about the age of 6 yrs old..they both are losing their teeth...is that normal or do i need to have that checked out?

Is it normal for older cats to lose their teeth?
My 22 year old cat had lost NO teeth other than one canine which was cracked and had to be pulled. She had her teeth cleaned every year in the seven years that I had her. My other cats of 16, 13 and 12 have not lost any teeth.

So it is not "normal" for a six year old cat or cats to be losing teeth. Some cats, like some people, have a poor genetic profile with teeth and they need regular attention from the veterinarian to maintain their dental and physical health.
Reply:Wet food is a major cause of tooth decay in cats. You may want to have them checked by a vet as this is a early age for cats to start lossing there teeth they may even have more of a tooth problem than you think, which can be costly. I don't want to alarm you i am just giving you a heads up.
Reply:6 years is fairly young to be losing teeth, and it could indicate a gum problem that needs to be addressed by a vet. If the gums are red, then intervention can save your cat. (I am not joking here, gum problems can lead to serious health issues with your cat). However, there are genetic reasons for tooth loss, and if that is the case, your cat will do fine eating even dry food without any teeth.
Reply:well, if they were over 9 or 10 yrs old it would seem normal but 6 yrs old seems strange.
Reply:need to get it checked out - your cats may need a good dental cleaning by the vet. most people think i am nuts when i say i get my cats (or dogs) teeth cleaned, but they need it just like people do. when they are at the vets for their yearly well check, they always check their teeth so if they need cleaning i make the appointment. most of the time they are anywhere from 5 - 7 years old before the tartar starts building up enough to where the vet recommends a cleaning. after that it depends on a lot of things - the type of food they eat, whether or not you are willing to brush them, and sometimes even the type of saliva the animal has. i used to have a dog that had to have her teeth cleaned every 6 months - she lived to a ripe old age of 13 and unfortunately got cancer. my oldest cat is 16 she has to have her teeth cleaned every year. i'm almost to the point of not doing it any more because the anesthesia scares me. i have all of the pre - anesthesia blood work done that the vet recommends, but i'm so afraid that she's not going to wake up. my 4 year old shih tzu x has already had her teeth cleaned twice - small dogs tend to need it more often than larger dogs and also start needing it earlier
Reply:I'm not sure 'normal' is the right word but it's pretty common. Dental disease is almost universal in older cats, and tends to cause tooth loss with time. Obviously some cats are more affected than others, but to find out about *your* cat it would be best to have a vet check his teeth.

Would you go out with a guy who doesn't have perfect teeth?

Alright so im a high school senior and I go to an all-guys high school so I cant wait to get to college next year. I didnt take very good care of my teeth when I was younger so I dont have the greatest teeth. The teeth themselves arent too bad but my gums are inflamed. However, since my teeth arent exactly white im very self-conscious. Also I realized that the gums between 2 of my teeth look like they have shrunk (that little gum triangle between all your teeth). I was at the dentist recently and he didnt say anything about that. I dont know how serious it is or if theres any way to repare my gums. Im terrified that im gonna start losing teeth. One of my concerns is that girls wont go out with me next year because I dont have perfect teeth. If you have any knowledge about gum disease is it too late to prevent tooth loss? Also girls would you not date a guy just because his teeth and gums arent perfect. Please help because I have become obsessed with my teeth and its all I think about.

Would you go out with a guy who doesn't have perfect teeth?
You would if you weren't american because you're realise there are more important things than teeth, but unfortunatley you're saddled with a society which places too much importance on trivial aspects of people's appearances. Good luck thinking outside the box.
Reply:i will not date a guy with bad teeth because mine are perfect
Reply:The teeth don't have to be perfect, but the mouth does have to be healthy.
Reply:i didnt take care of my teeth either when i was young but i was blessed with straight teeth and i used all sorts of whitening toothpaste and mouthwash so my teeth are pretty white
Reply:i have big teeth , they arent straight ... just buy some whitener for them ... crest white strips do wonders . ask to get a whitening kit from the dentist ...

not that much money
Reply:well you could always date someone who's teeth are more jacked up than yours are...

kidding!

here's the dealy-o: your personality is much much more important than your gum/teeth problem..as long as your teeth aren't jacked enough that you need braces, and you brush them and have fresh breath, i doubt a girl is really going to care.... girls are too worried about what you're thinking to notice you're worried about what they're thinking about your teeth.
Reply:If a guy has good breath and a decent looking smile (no broken teeth, no brown stains) I would date him, even if his teeth weren't perfect.

There are many mouthwashes and toothpastes that promote healthy teeth and gums. Brush twice a day and get your teeth cleaned at least once a year by a dentist.

Cancer and teeth loss?

My mother in law is suffering from stage IV cervical cancer. During the course of the spreading of it, we began noticing that she was losing teeth here and there. As she is today, she only has some of her front teeth on the top and bottom yet. She had told us that they tested her to see if it had spread to her bone marrow a couple of months ago and she told us the answer was no. Obviously the doctors can't say anything if she refuses to tell us, but I can't seem to find anything linking cancer to teeth loss unless it's oral cancer, or if cancer is in the bones, making them brittle. Does anyone out there know about this? Would it be safe to say perhaps it has spread to the bones? She got very emotional the other day and yelled "it's in my bones" but then apologized and said she didn't mean to say that...

Cancer and teeth loss?
It could be that it moved to her bones but it is more likely to move to organs first. It will shut those down before it gets to her bones. If she has been going thru Kemo, it is likely that is what is causing her to loose her teeth. It is also the cause of hair loss in many cancer patients.

I know it is really hard to see a family member like that.

Wisdom Teeth?!?

I'm 13 almost 14. I've been having pain in the very back of my mouth and I've stopped growing molars and losing teeth. I heard my dentist talking to my mom about removing my wisdom teeth. I think I might be growing in my wisdom teeth! I can feel them a little under my gums too. Is it unmoral to have your wisdom teeth at this age?

Wisdom Teeth?!?
No, I'm not sure why they would be. To me, going through unnecessary pain is immoral. I had my wisdom teeth pulled at about your age. It's no big deal. Don't worry.
Reply:I am in the same position im 14 and there taking my wisdom teeth out... iam so nervous all of them are impacted ouch!!! Report It

Reply:they rip themm out, after braces come off
Reply:People tend to get them about age 15-25 when they are becoming adults. It is not unlikley though that you could be growing them earlier. Removal is normal and so is the pain in the back.
Reply:Mine came in at about 17, so 13 is younger then most. I got mine extracted already, I was put under for it, really easy on my part, just closed my eyes and woke up with three less teeth!! (I only had 3, not 4)
Reply:Well I can tell you it is normal I am 16 and I am getting my wisdom teeth pulled the 27th and I am a little nervous. I started to get my wisdom teeth when I was 13 but they were way way way down in my gums. My dentist showed me. They started coming in when I was 13 and then when I was 14 going on 15 they were totally ready to be pulled. So it was normal for me. Hope this helped.
Reply:My wisdom teeth are still coming in half way out, i'm fifteen and two days ago I had to have my front tooth removed, because some idiot made me fall two years ago!!! If you get your wisdom teeth removed you can lose your taste, and if you feel them coming in dont get then removed hope this helps

Problems with my teeth?

ok so im 14 and i asked my dad if my tooth were 2 fall out will another grow. he said im to old 2 be losing teeth. anyways lately my tooth feels soft and hurts every now and then.. but wen i touch it ,it doesn't move. also i put oraljel on it that doesn't work much but is it some wit my gum or is it my tooth. and its my back teeth like the second one, two the last one.and well a tooth grow back? plzz help

Problems with my teeth?
No, all your teeth that you have at present are what dentists call "permanent" teeth. Unlike members of the ray family(sharks, skates, rays), humans only have one extra set of teeth when they are born. The looseness and soreness that you are experiencing could be attributed to a lack of calcium. I would seek advice from an orthodontist or your family dentist.
Reply:You should get your parents to take you to a dentist. A tooth that hurts could be a sign of serious decay, and it needs to be looked at by a dentist. It could indeed just be your gums, but only they can be sure.

If it's in your back teeth, you could be having problems with your wisdom teeth starting to grow in. I even more seriously urge you to get to your dentist. Some people can get their wisdom teeth just fine, but for other people they grow in sideways or crooked and cause problems by pushing around all of your other teeth. You don't want that, so get to a dentist.

A baby tooth will grow back, but you're past that stage. If you lose one now, it's gone.
Reply:Well, u gotta see a dentist.

Generally speaking, permanent teeth ( grown up teeth) erupt from age 6 till 13 except for wisdom teeth which normally erupt between 18 %26amp; 21. but some variations may occur.

From what u said I don't think that the tooth ur talking about will be replaced.

A permanent tooth may become loose due to gum disease, usually due to improper home dental care( brushing %26amp; so). But what u r describing is most likely due to tooth decay. If u r teeth hurt u when u eat or drink something ( especially cold or hot drinks or sweet stuff) then it's most probably decayed %26amp; needs a restoration. But if the pain comes with no cause or stays for a long period after the cause is gone then the pulp may be affected %26amp; u need root canal treatment %26amp; in this case ur tooth might seem soft or a bit loose. If the pulp is affected then painkillers wont do much, u gotta have it treated.

bottom line: u gotta clean ur teeth very well %26amp; have a dentist check ur teeth.
Reply:Well they are baby teeth
Reply:You really do need to see a dentist to see for sure what is going on with your teeth. But I can tell you this much, I did not loose all of my baby teeth until after I was in my late 20's. Now that is a very rare thing to happen, but it does happen. Only problem with that is when I lost my baby teeth at the age, there was no other teeth to take there place as the second set didn't develop. So please do go to the dentist to find out what is going on with your teeth before it is too late.

Dreaming about teeth?

I was talking to my mother about how I keep dreaming that I am losing teeth. She was surprised because my sisters had told her they were dreaming the same.

I have heard that if you dream of losing teeth you are sexually frustrated :P That is all that I was able to find out. Since we started discussing these dreams with each other I have stopped having them.

So we are 3 sisters, ages 28, 24, and 22, and we have all three been dreaming about our teeth falling out. Any ideas why?

Dreaming about teeth?
I found this site on "teeth falling out".

http://www.dreammoods.com/cgibin/teethdr...

as for why you and your sisters are having the dream together...there are many theories to that.

1. you and your sisters are very "connected" to each other, so when one is under stress the others feel it too.

2. all of you are under a similar stress and your genetic make-up is similiar in that you all will deal w/stress through your dreams the same way.

there are other theroies too..but they are really..umm, out there if you get my drift.

these are just theories. are you and your sisters very close? if so i'd suspect #1. i dont usually subscribe to things like that, but i myself have a VERY strong bond w/my youngest son, so i get how that might happen.
Reply:I have dreamt about the same think..Not sure why though.
Reply:I am sorry Tiffanie, but in my culture dreaming of falling teeth is an indication of death in the family!

But then...hey! its just the subconcious playing havoc with your imagination. I am sure you have been thinking about your teeth too much!

Besides i do not believe in things like this even though when i once dreamt of two my teeth falling, i lost my granny and one of my uncles within the month.

In general, dreams about losing one's teeth are common and suggest the dreamer feels powerless or out of control in a real life situation. Here are some more meanings for dreams about teeth:

If your teeth fell out or you spit them out, you are anxious about money.

To dream of brushing your teeth represents the clearance of obstacles which have been holding you back.

If you dream of having/seeing wooden teeth, you are feeling apathetic and emotionless. You may be behaving automatically and just going along with the flow. Or you may be acting out without fully thinking things through.

If you dream of having gray or rotting teeth, this may be a sign of health problems - see your doctor.

To dream of getting a cavity in your tooth is sometimes a warning that your health is at risk. The other possible meaning is, you have uttered some false or mean words and those words are coming back to haunt you.

Im 15 and it feels like i am going to lose my teeth?

i dont know if i am but it feels like my teeth are going to fall out sooner or later. i brush every day twice a day and still wondering if i can lose my teeth at this age. i dont know if its cause i have not brushed my teeth yet cause i havent brushed them for 12 hours and everytime i grind my teeth together right now it moves a itcy tiny bit. am i losing my teeth, or do i just need to brush them?

Im 15 and it feels like i am going to lose my teeth?
Stop grinding your teeth it's not good for them. Next time u go to the dentist consult them and they should answer.
Reply:One: go to the dentist Two: brush your teeth or you will have worse troubles down the road.
Reply:You need to go to your dentist and ask him if you have any more baby teeth to loose. If not then let your dentist know about how loose your teeth feel.
Reply:Make sure your learn a good technique for brushing your teeth. You can find out on the net or from your dentist, Learn how to floss, and limit sugary things between meals. You could also make sure you are getting the correct diet. Lack of vitamin C can sometimes make teeth feel a bit loose.

If you grind your teeth together then there will be some slight movement, also if you have worn orthodontic appliances, recently lost teeth or had new ones growing in then these can all contribute to odd sensations in your mouth. At 15 I would bet that there is nothing serious going on here and you are still growing! Ask your dentist to reassure you.

Do yorkie puppies have baby teeth?

my yorkie puppy is 5 months old, he just lost a tooth, the first tooth he has lost unless im mistaken. do yorkie puppies have baby teeth and when should he lose them all? when will he grow adult teeth? also, i am feeding him a food recommended by the vet, science plan, but if he is going to be losing teeth is it going to be too hard for him to eat? what should i feed him in the meantime until he grows adult teeth?

Do yorkie puppies have baby teeth?
Yes, all dogs lose their baby teeth around 4-6 months old. Small breed dogs such as Yorkies sometimes have problems losing all their teeth and end up with double layers of teeth because the new tooth grows right behind the old one, which hasn't fallen off. If this happens, your vet needs to take them out during the dog's spay/neuter surgery. In a normal case, all the teeth should be out by 5-7 months of age.

There is no food called Science Plan- you're either talking about Science Diet or Purina Pro Plan. Either way, both brands are crappy foods. They're full of junk- corn, byproducts, and fillers.

Feed him one of these high-quality foods:

As he loses his teeth, he might lose appetite as well. You can make it easier for him to eat food by moistening his kibble with water, low-sodium beef broth, or low-sodium chicken broth.
Reply:He will continue to loose his baby teeth over the next couple of months. Continue feeding him as usual. He won't have any problems eating.
Reply:yes yorkies have baby teeth they should have adult teeth by 6 months old
Reply:All dog breed have milk teeth as puppies that come out and are replaced by the adult teeth.

It is not like he will become completely toothless all at once, he will still be able to eat his regular food so there is no reason to change.
Reply:Yes. Yorkies do have baby teeth, all dogs do. The Yorkie is known for not losing all of their teeth though, they often keep quite alot of them, especially the canines.

But dont worry about it, its totally normal :)
Reply:All puppies have baby teeth, he'll be fine.
Reply:All dogs have baby teeth. They begin to shed them at around 6 mos. and their permanant teeth should be in by 1 year.
Reply:Yes, Yorkies have baby teeth. Losing the baby teeth are very important for the proper growth of their adult teeth, which Yorkies have problems with anyway due to the size of their small mouths. If dogs don't lose their baby teeth, their adult teeth will grow behind them, will cause plaque because they are so close together, and may need to be pulled (This happened to my Yorkie with a baby canine tooth). Don't be concerned about the dog food unless it is too big for his mouth, where he is just swallowing it whole. Hard dog food is important to small dogs because it cleans their teeth, thus avoiding plaque and tooth loss.
Reply:puppies should start loosing baby teeth around 4-5 months and will continue to loose the rest over the next couple of months

usually if when a dog goes to the vet to be spayed or neutered (around 6 months) if they still have baby teeth the vet will pull them while they are under the aneathsia
Reply:all puppys have baby teeth so donnot worry sometimes ou find them and sometimes you dont its fine
Reply:all puppies have baby teeth, its hard to notice them falling out though. i only ever saw one laying in the floor. i think they are fine with hard food. maybe get the small bites.
Reply:yes all pups have puppy teeth.

Most of the time you won't even notice as they often swallow their teeth.

The pup can continue on the regular food he whould be just fine.

the teeth should be out between 66-8 months old and the adult teeth pretty much grow right in.

What do dreams about teeth mean?

I always dream about me losing teeth and it scares me. I believe dreams have meanings in weird ways. The other night I dreamed that a lot of my back teeth just started crumbling out in HUGE chunks. I have had numerous dreams about me losing teeth that I can't even think of them all. Another one I can think of off the top of my head is I had a dream that I lost all of my bottom teeth but they came out really weird. They were my real teeth but fell out like dentures.

Any dream interpreters that can explain dreams about losing teeth and meaning to them. My teeth are in decent condition, I brush them like I should. I could floss more and they could use a cleaning but I don't think that has anything to do with my dreams. I think it is something more mythological meaning but that has a meaning, ya know.

What do dreams about teeth mean?
I didn't write this, nor am I taking credit for what it says, its from the site below, I just wanted to give you as much info as possible. Hope it helps!

Teeth

To dream that you have rotten or decaying teeth, forewarns that your health and/or business is in jeopardy. You may have uttered some false or foul words and those words are coming back to haunt you.

To dream that you are brushing your teeth, signifies your level of confidence, struggles and aggressiveness. You need to be more look out for yourself.

Dreams that your teeth are falling out are the most common dreams we here at Dream Moods receive. Common dream scenarios include having your teeth crumbling in your hands or your teeth falling out one by one with just a light tap.?Such dreams are not only horrifying and shocking, but often leaves the dreamer with a lasting image of the dream. So what does it mean?

One theory is that dreams about your teeth reflect your anxiety about your appearance and how others perceive you. Sadly, we live in a world where good looks are valued highly and your teeth play an important role in conveying that image. Teeth are used in the game of flirtations, whether it be a dazzling and gleaming smile or affectionate necking. These dreams may stem from a fear of your sexual impotence or the consequences of getting old. Teeth are an important feature of our attractiveness and presentation to others. Everybody worries about how they appear to others. Caring about our appearance is natural and healthy.?

Another rationalization for these falling teeth dream may be rooted in your fear of being embarrassed or making a fool of yourself in some specific situation. These dreams are an over-exaggeration of your worries and anxiety.?

Teeth are used to bite, tear, chew and gnaw. In this regard, teeth represent power. And the loss of teeth in your dream may be from a sense of powerlessness. Are you lacking power in some current situation? Perhaps you are having difficulties expressing yourself or getting your point across. You feel frustrated when your voice is not being heard. You may be experiencing feelings of inferiority and a lack of self-confidence in some situation or relationship in your life. This dream is an indication that you need to be more assertive and believe in the value of your own opinion.

In the latest research, it has been shown that women in menopause have frequent dreams about teeth. This may be related to getting older and/or feeling unattractive and less feminine.

Traditionally, it was thought that dreaming that you did not have teeth, represent malnutrition which may be applicable to some dreamers.

Other Perspectives

A scriptural interpretation for bad or falling teeth indicate that you are putting your faith, trust, and beliefs in what man thinks rather than in the word of God. The bible says that God speaks once, yea twice in a dream or a vision in order to hide pride from us, to keep us back from the pit, to open our ears (spiritually) and to instruct and correct us.

In the Greek culture, when you dream about loose, rotten, or missing teeth, it indicates that a family member or close friend is very sick or even near death.

According to the Chinese, there is a saying that your teeth will fall out if your are telling lies.?

It has also been said that if you dream of your teeth falling out, then it symbolizes money. This is based on the old tooth fairy story. If you lose a tooth and leave it under the pillow, a tooth fairy would bring you money.?
Reply:I used to have dreams like that all the time.

I read it means you feel you said something you shouldn't have or somehow overstepped your boundaries.

It can also mean you have low self-esteem.

When I had them I was in a really bad place in my life, but once I got it together they stopped.

no i'm kidding, it probably means that you will have problems with your teeth
Reply:It either means that you are obsessed with your teeth or the tooth fairy has put a curse on you.
Reply:you are probably clenching your teeth while you sleep and it is causing subconscious messages like your dreams. you can get mouth appliances to stop this. It causes serious problems like TMJ as well as damage to your teeth.
Reply:If you relax and don't worry about your teeth, then the dreams won't come. Most of the time dreams are about things you're afraid of or something in the back of your head. So yeah, try that for a few+ nights, because sometimes your dreams are about stuff your not even thinking of....

The Front Two Teeth-Upper and Lower : They symbolise a person's children, brothers and sisters.

Loose Teeth : Loose teeth implies that one of his family members will fall ill.

Teeth in the Pocket : Pocketing the teeth or wrapping them in cloth or seeing them falling into the hand or keeping them in the house-any of these is a harbinger of a child, brother or sister being born. If may also mean his deriving some benefit from one of them.

Masticating Teeth : To see the teeth in the act of chewing suggest that one of his family members will fall ill.

Long Teeth : If a person sees his teeth as long or white or beautiful, it means that he will witness certain conditions in some of his family members that will give him pleasure and satisfaction.

Molars : They symbolise a person's paternal uncles, aunts etc. Any defect ion them is suggestive of similar misfortune regarding them.

Canine : This symbolises the head of the household on whom the household depends.

Pre-molars : These symbolise one's maternal uncles and aunts.

Molars and Pre-molars : These symbolise a persons paternal and maternal uncles and aunts. The upper ones will then symbolise the males and the lower ones the females. If a person sees any of these as fallen, and he does not pick them up nor or count them, it means one of his relatives will die. And if he sees all of them having fallen and he does not pick them up nor does he count them it suggest that he will outlive all of them, being the last to die.

An Incident : It is related that Ameerul_Mu'mineen, Mansoor, dreamt that he had lost all his teeth. In the morning he called for an interpreter. The interpreter came and after listening to the dram, said to Mansoor: “All your relatives will die.” Upon this, Mansoor became infuriated, saying : “May Allah lock your mouth! May He never let your interpretation become a reality! Now be gone!”. The another interpreter was called who fortunately was familiar with courtly protocols. He said: “O Ameerul-Mu'mineen, you will live for a long time. You will be the last to die amongst your relatives”.

Highly delighted with his tactful interpretation, the Ameerul-Mu'mineen laughed, remarking: “both interpretations are the same, but the manner employed by you is more superior and excellent!” He then presented him ten Thousand Dirhams as a gift.
Reply:In my country, dreaming about falling or crumbling teeth means that there will a dead in the family.

But I dont believe that. What I believe is if we dream about falling teeth, perhaps we are too obsessed of what might happen to our teeth, like they may get cavities etc.

It was the same when I repeatedly dreamed of my face being torn apart or got scars because I was worry if my smooth skin (especially the face part) got flawed. I stop dreaming it now as I dont think of it anymore!

Dreams of teeth falling out indicate a fear of loss of power and of growing old and dying. To dream of loose teeth denotes personal sickness. To a tooth denotes the death of a friend or relative. For all the teeth denotes personal sickness.

Which teeth do children lose when they're younger? All of them? Or some of them?

My son is going to be 10 and he asked me this morning if he's done losing his teeth. I hate to admit that I didn't know, lol. Are children born with ALL baby teeth, or are some teeth they're born with permanent?

Which teeth do children lose when they're younger? All of them? Or some of them?
http://users.forthnet.gr/ath/abyss/dep11...

This website shows primary dentition and the ages the baby teeth come in. Click on the tab for Permanent Dentition on the yellow panel on the left of the page to see the ages the adult teeth generally erupt. All primary teeth are generally replaced by adult teeth (except in some cases where the patient is congenitally missing some teeth in which case heroic measures are taken to save the baby teeth).

Obviously the ages indicated in the sample are just a rough guide and can vary considerably in individuals.

We have 20 primary teeth and 32 adult teeth (including 4 wisdom teeth that don't erupt until late teens). If your son has lost all his baby teeth and got all his adult teeth he will have 28 in total right now.
Reply:all
Reply:all of them.
Reply:all of their teeth but the very back ones
Reply:Eventually children will lose all of their baby teeth's and replace by grown teeth's
Reply:All of them fall out but not all at once!it depends its mostly genetics but don't worry!
Reply:I lost all but my molar teeth by age 10 but didnt lose my molars til about 13
Reply:All except for any mollars that start growing in right about now.
Reply:Human beings have 2 sets of teeth, the baby teeth (milk teeth or primary teeth) which you have until 5 or 6 years old or so. Then you get the 32 permanent teeth. The last four molars (wisdom teeth can wait until the late teens to come in.

Tell you son that if he doesn't brush and floss, he is not done losing teeth but that any he looses now will not be replaced. At least not without paying alot of money.
Reply:The children's dentition consists of 24 teeth; an adult has 32. All of the baby teeth are eventually replaced. I don't recall at what age the last of the baby teeth are usually lost, but it's around ten; ask the dentist on your next visit.

Are there any baby teeth children do NOT lose?

My five-year-old, who has lost no teeth yet, has severely cracked a tooth in the back (It's the next to last on the upper right side). I think I recall losing that tooth as a chlld, but my husband thinks that molars are for life once you get them. If we have to crown this tooth, it's going to be a much bigger deal than just pulling a little baby tooth. Does anyone have expertise in this? Thanks.

Are there any baby teeth children do NOT lose?
Yes, children loose ALL of their baby teeth! EDIT: theoretically...Although, the tooth that s/he cracked does not get replaced (by the permanent 1st premolar) until s/he is 10-11 years old.

I am not sure what dentist do for this, maybe pull it and put in a spacer to keep the space for the permanent tooth. Or a crown?

You should take your child to their dentist.
Reply:He is probably too young to have his permanent molars, although some kids do develop faster than others. He most likely broke a baby tooth which should fall out, but not until he is much older. If it was a baby tooth the dentist can either crown it with a stainless steel crown which is not that expensive (less than $100 where I work) or he can pull the tooth and have a space maintainer made which will keep that space open so the adult tooth can come in properly. The best thing to do is to take him to his dentist ASAP to have an x-ray taken and the dentist will be able to tell you for sure! Hope this helps.
Reply:All the baby teeth or milk teeth are lost during the early years after being born (6-12). We are all born with bud teeth (teeth under the milk teeth and they will be permanent), except for the wisdom teeth, our milk teeth are on top of the bud teeth. Some times when a young person looses a milk tooth due to an accident, the growing of a permanent tooth can be delayed due to the trauma on the gums. Have your dentist check your son's mouth to determine proper grow of your son's teeth.
Reply:NO CHILDREN do NOT LOSE ALL THEIR BABY TEETH!

The usual stimulus for a baby tooth falling out is an adult tooth pushing it out.

There are many adults out there with "baby" teeth in their mouth because they never developed a permanent tooth. What i've seen are missing premolars, so their baby teeth are still there.

Other reasons that an adult may have a baby tooth in their mouth are ankylosed teeth or they may have some genetic abnormality.

But assuming that your five year old has a cracked molar and has a normal adult tooth under his tooth, he should get it fixed or extracted. Depending on the reason why it cracked (decay or trauma) it may need just a filling, a crown, or a pulpotomy and crown. It also may need an extraction followed by a spacer.

If it is a baby molar tooth, this tooth usually will not be replaced by its adult predecessor until the age of 11 or 12, hence the need for a spacer if you get the tooth pulled.

Either way, the dentist will evaluate the most successful treatment for you and your child.
Reply:What a coincidence that you're asking this question today. My 7-year-old just had his first baby molar pulled today. He broke it about a year ago (we think due to excessive teeth grinding at night that taxed a filling to its limits). Today, I took him in because he had an infection in that tooth and the surrounding gum, and the filling popped out when I was flossing for him last night.

Definitely get your five-year-old to the dentist. They may be able to fill the tooth until his "grown up" molar comes in when he/she is 11-13 years old. If it stays the way it is without treatment, it could get infected eventually, and you may need to have it pulled. When that happens at such a young age, the dentist will put a spacer in to save the empty space for his "grown up" tooth that will eventually take over that spot.

In answer to your question, "Are there any baby teeth children do NOT lose?" My answer is, "No." They eventually all loosen and fall out in about the same order that they came in (the bottom front teeth first, the second molars last). There are 20 baby teeth in all.

Good luck, and don't forget to get that baby tooth to the dentist.

Can I really lose all of my teeth? I'm only 14....?

I used to not take care of my teeth when I was younger but since I noticed some starting to get pretty wobbly I started to try to do better. It isn't doing any good. My mom took me to a dentist a couple weeks ago but we don't have dental, and it's gonna cost a lot cuz I have alot of cavities. He also said I have a pretty bad case of gum disease for somebody my age and I'll probly be losing some teeth soon. I thought he was just trying to scare me, which he did, but 1 of my front teeth actually came out today. I mean the whole tooth fell right out when I bit into a sandwich. We can't afford those treatments and they aren't even garanteed to work anyways. Can I really lose all of my teeth at my age? I'm freaking out cuz I have a front tooth missing now. I know my teeth looked like crap before, but now I'm losing them. The dentist told my mom when we were there before that the other option was to pull the worst ones and try to save some of the rest. I didn't think he was really serious.

Can I really lose all of my teeth? I'm only 14....?
that sucks but yes some people just have bad teeth no matter what you do sorry just be you they make several different types of false teeth some are even permanent and don't come out you will be fine if this is the case
Reply:Why would he waste your mother's time and money to tell her something he wasn't serious about.

What more proof do you need than losing a tooth already?
Reply:if theres not another tooth coming out of the tooth that just came out then you seriously have to get fake teeth.
Reply:You need to get the help. Money or no money, you have to find a way to fix the situation, or else you are going to have dentures by the time you graduate high school. Make sure you floss daily, brush for two minutes twice daily with a toothpaste that says "tartar control." If it doesn't say tartar control, don't buy it. Make sure you get everywhere. Don't make exceptions, do this everyday. Your gums WILL hurt, but the flossing is the most important, because it will firm up your gums. If you don't take care of your teeth, your mom will have to pay for dentures or false teeth, which are VERY EXPENSIVE.
Reply:Check with your local township for dental programs. Look it up on the web.

Dental Schools also do a great job.

I use a tip from a nutritionist between visits to get cleanings. At the health food store, in liquid form only is something called GoldenSeal. Mix it with water, it tastes bad. Soak your mouth. It is a chinese antioxin. It fights infections. Also, green teas calm my gums.

I get my teeth cleaned every 3 months. Sometimes meds, or just gentetics makes you prone to gum disease. If you are prone to it, you have to get your teeth cleaned often. Start flossing, it takes forever when you start, but in a couple of weeks, you will get real fast at it.

Sorry about the front tooth.
Reply:He was serious. He was trying to give it to you straight, not just tell you scary stories.

You and your mom should try a dental college for treatment. You can get top notch care from students who are being supervised by a dental professor. The cost is generally minimal since they need the practice too.

Don't put this off. I know its expensive, but your teeth are supposed to last a lifetime...

Good luck.

Reply:omg of course u can loose all of ur teeth. they might not all just fall out like that one, and might just rot below the gumline n need to b pulled. i have an uncle that didnt take care of his teeth at all n had to get them all removed. he now wears a big mustache to hide his lack of teeth n cant eat a lot of his favorite foods. u r lucky to live in a time where fake teeth r a lot more real looking. u will probably need to do a few different procedures over time to fix them, but at least u have gotten the message. the worst thing u can do is say 'oh well, i might as well not do anything bcuz they r so bad" but that will b worse. i used to go out w a really good lookin guy n found out he had some fake teeth, so, dont worry about not lookin good, u will get ur teeth fixed and take care of them 100 times better than u did b4 and look great. plus u wnt have the pain of a rotting or abcessed tooth to deal with! good luck, i hope everything turns out ok for u. try looking for dentists that help patients w finacial challenges or have a good payment plan, then work ur butt off to help ur mom pay for it!
Reply:Phew, thats god awful. You dont brush your teeth, and now you have gingivitis, and your going to be a snaggle tooth 14 year old? wooow

So where have you been all your life? You didnt know you had to brush your teeth. Its not like this is a 3rd world country where they dont teach health education in school. aaaah wait....where are you from? hummmm
Reply:Hunny I'm really sorry to hear about your prediciment but you can lose all your teeth at any age. My father lost all his teeth by the time he was 16 because he didn't take care of them and ate a diet high in refined sugars.... he wore dentures from age 16 until the day he died.

The dentist wasn't trying to scare you or your mother- he told you the truth. If you can't afford dental care and don't have any insurance I would suggest that you or your Mom begin looking into what state funded dental care programs are available... A lot of them are based on income, but there are some out there that aren't. There are also supplemental insurance plans that are reasonably priced that help lower the overall cost of dental work. One such plan is Carrington...

http://www.caringtondental.com/index.htm...

It's a shame that your mother let you go so long without regular dental exams- this could have been prevented. Now that you're in this prediciment I suggest flossing and brushing every day... while this can't reverse the damage that's already been done it will prevent any further decay or erosion of the teeth that are still healthy while helping to heal your gums.

Were I in your shoes I would get into a state dental program and have them pull the teeth that can't be saved at this point and replace them with crowns or a partial... Either of these options will give you the appearance of a normal healthy smile.

From here on out- don't even think about going to bed or waking up in the morning without flossing and brushing your teeth thoroughly!

Best wishes to you- and again you have my sympathy as you've got a long list of unpleasant proceedures ahead of you!
Reply:Yes, you can lose them all or most of them if you don't do something pretty quick. It's probly too late for some, but maybe you can at least save some teeth. I had gum and teeth problems too and I waited too long do anything about mine and ended up losing my teeth at 15. Better hurry up and do something tho cuz once the first one came out mine went like dominoes.
Reply:I sorry to hear about your tooth. I would definately look into denistry colleges in your city to get the cheapest care possible. My parents took me to one when my cousin was studying and they did a great job. Fillings are much easier to perform than a root canal, and you DO NOT want to get to that point. So get on it ASAP! In the mean time, brush and floss 2x a day.

And don't worry too much about the tooth you lost, take care of the ones you still have and keep smiling. There's no such thing as an imperfect smile.
Reply:I hate to tell you this but its better to go to the dentist and get the bad teeth out before it gets worse. If you turn up toothless or missing teeth its not the end of the world, there are guys that dont care if a girl doesnt have front teeth, my girl friend lost her front teeth in a car accident and I still love her and I do kiss her, I dont care if she becomes toothless. Answering your question, yes you can loose your teeth even at childhood if you have gum desease. As you describe its very probable that you loose the front ones
Reply:Hi amber. Yes you can really lose your teeth even if you're just 14. Your dentist is not scaring you and I understand your predicament with your financial situation. You would probably agree that your family doesn't prioritize dental care that most of your expenses goes to basic everyday needs.

Do take the advise of your dentist to pull the worst ones and save the rest because no matter how hard or good you floss and brush now, there's already significant bone loss Your condition is not reversible anymore unless you replace the bone that you lost to anchor the teeth. Do what you can to save the teeth that is not wobbly. Start to practice good oral hygiene so as not to worsen the situation. For your treatments, schedule them with your mom a little at a time. You don't have to undergo ALL treatments at the same time. Start with the immediate concern then go along until all treatments are finished. It would be less of a financial burden and you get to have your teeth fixed. Hope this helps.

Loose teeth in puppies question?

Okay, I know puppies begin losing their teeth between 5 and 6 months, but is it abnormal for them to lose them early? I ask because my Lab is only 18 weeks old and for the last week her teeth have been bleeding when she chews on things. It started out as small spots but now she's bleeding pretty bad on everything she puts in her mouth. I know this is a sign of her getting ready to lose teeth - though for the life of me I can't see what tooth (teeth) are bleeding - but is this too young? How long usually are the teeth lose before they fall out? I'm not too worried about it because I know it's normal. Guess I'm just curious because my other puppy isn't showing any signs of loose teeth yet. They are both scheduled to be spayed on Feb. 7th but they have to at least lost one tooth to have it done according to the vet and I don't know if I chould reschedule Ravyn's since she's not losing teeth yet. Thanks! Serious answers only and no smarta** comments!

Loose teeth in puppies question?
Eighteen weeks is not really that early. It's more than 4 months, so it's normal.

The exact schedule does vary from breed to breed.

The incisors turn over from deciduous to permanent from two to four months of age. The canines usually convert around six months of age. The premolars and molars follow in that order, with the last permanent molar erupting around eight months of age.

Dogs have 28 deciduous (temporary) teeth and 42 permanent teeth. Puppies have no teeth at birth, and grow deciduous teeth beginning their second week of life.

At three months of age, the deciduous teeth begin to be replaced by the permanent teeth. The replacement process begins with the incisors, and moves back

wards through the canines, premolars and finally the molars. The turnover process is usually complete by the time the dog is eight months old, with none of the original 28 deciduous teeth remaining. Most deciduous teeth are swallowed with food and never seen by the pet owner. Occasionally a deciduous tooth is merely pushed to the side and retained next to the permanent tooth. Retained deciduous teeth can be removed by a veterinarian.

ADD: Og you're lucky, you're u might even find a couple to save in your dog's scrapbook ifyou have one :-)
Reply:You're very welcome. I'm glad that I could help. Thank you, too, for picking my answer.

My lab is waiting at the Rainbow Bridge, but I still have 2 of her baby teeth. Labs are great dogs. Good luck with both of them. I'm sure you'll have lots of wonderful days ahead with both of them. Report It

Reply:They start loosing them between 4-5 months (Some earlier - every puppy is diffrerent, just like a child)), so yes, your puppy is probably starting to loose it's baby teeth.

Thank you SO much for spaying them!
Reply:Your puppy will have lost all thier front teeth by the time they are 4 months old and have their adult ones in. This is how your vet can tell their age. So this is totally normal.
Reply:I'm really not sure but I think it is fine. If her body is ready then it is. Its as simple as that. (I think) :)
Reply:Most puppies begin losing their baby teeth between 3 - 4 months and are finished teething around 6 months. The puppy who hasn't started losing teeth yet, may have lost some without you noticing. It's not as big a deal for all puppies - check for really tiny teeth coming in.
Reply:I think you should be calling your vet and asking this question.
Reply:18 weeks is not too early to start losing teeth. My mixed breed pup had almost all his adult teeth by 4 1/2 months.
Reply:Not to worry, my dog did the same thing. Check to make sure that there isn't anything stuck in her gums. My dog had a sliver of [i still don't know what it was] stuck in his gums. I took floss and got it out. The bleeding stopped in a day.P.S. labs chew EVERYTHING!
Reply:yes its perfectly fine i just got a coco lab like 5 months ago and she started to lose them like after 3 months and when they start to blead they are lose give her or him a rawhide to chew on and they will handel it by themselves and you dont have to worry if they swallow it either its to smalll to harm them
Reply:Pups can lose teeth anytime after 4 months and be completely normal. It can really depend on what they are eating and what they have been given to chew on. Once the milk teeth fall out the new ones appear almost immediately. AND I have never heard of a vet not spaying/neutering due to tooth loss! Might want to do a little research on the VET!! Any pet can be spayed/neutered if they are physically ready. (healthy and for a male both testicles descended). Most vets prefer to wait until they are 5 months, but this is for anesthesia reasons, not teeth.

Thanx

Is age 5 too young to lose teeth?
Off the topic, but you can go into your settings and make it so you don't get an email everytime you get an answer... then you can just check a day or two later and get all the answers you need.

But, to answer your question...

Every person is different. And 5 is not too young to begin losing teeth. (I'm a dental hygienist)

Reply:my 5 year old has her 2 front bottom teeth almost completely out. it's fine. the earlier the kid gets the teeth, the earlier she looses the teeth.
Reply:Kids start loosing their baby teeth at this stage. By ten they should of prety much had their adult teeth come in. If ur unsure of these answers go look it up under google or something
Reply:5 years old if perfectly fine =]
Reply:Five years old is when they start to lose teeth. It's normal.
Reply:Nope... She's right on schedule! Should be her, front upper tooth, right? Once those are gone, then the lower centrals will be next in line to come out! So cute....
Reply:no, 5 and 6 is the right time for teeth to come out
Reply:Thats the age she should start losing teeth. Watch how fast she will mature now...this is the time when you should really help her to become a better reader.

Reply:~~~~~~nope not at all???~~~~~~~~~~~
Reply:She will lose her deciduous teeth at ages 5, 6, 9, 10, and 11 respectively, give or take a few months. In response to that, her permanent teeth will erupt at the ages of 6, 7, 10, 11, 12, 13. Her wisdom teeth will erupt only after 18 yrs of age.

If there is any related itching or irritation, warm saline gargles will resolve it. Regular gum massage will also help her teeth to erupt. If the permanent teeth start erupting before the deciduous teeth are shed, it will lead to defective alignment, and it is a cause for visiting the dentist.

Good luck.
Reply:no it isn't too young if he's missing anterior tooth .. not the canine of course
Reply:nope not too young
Reply:My nephew lost his two bottom teeth when he was 4.He had 10 teeth at 10 months,so I don't know if that had anything to do with it or not. He's 13 now and has beautiful teeth.
Reply:If it fell out in its own it is normal. To avoid crooked teeth or ortodontic treatment on the future, take her in to her dentist. Make sure her permanent tooth is coming soon. If it is not, consider paying for a space maintainer. The longer it takes for a tooth to come out, the less space it will have. If there is not enough space for it, it either comes out crooked or malpositioned. The purpose of a space maintainer is to keep that space open for when the tooth comes out.

Is it normal for cats to lose teeth, or have loose teeth?

We are calling the vet tommarrow, but we dont know if this is normal, our cat Luna, has a loose tooth, its bleeding a bit. We dont know if we should pull it out or let it come out on its own. But if we let it come out on its own, were afraid she will swallow it or maybe lose it somewhere. What should i do. Also is this normal, please please PLEASE answer my question.

Is it normal for cats to lose teeth, or have loose teeth?
Not adult cats. Kittens loose teeth, but adult cats don't unless there is a problem.
Reply:Not normal unless she is less than 6 months old and it's a baby tooth.

I wouldn't pull it out, it won't hurt her if she swallows it. Kittens do it all the time.

Check with the vet tomorrow.
Reply:It is semi-normal only if they have a small problem. Just like people cats can have problems with their gums and any number of things. Two of our cats have had teeth removed because of problems. I would recommend not trying to pull it out but just keeping an eye on her until you take her to the vet. As far as swallowing it, it may happen. I mean, think about it. When they are kittens they lose their teeth and possibly swallow it. Like I said, just keep an eye on her. Best of luck.
Reply:well it would help if you gave its age .. baby kitten like dogs will lose there baby teeth and most of the time they will swallow them ..but seems how i don't know the age you best just leave it alone and take her vet .. so call them in the morn and see if you can get her in ....good luck
Reply:Kittens usually swallow their baby teeth.

Adult cats, though, have a pain problem if there are any loose, wobbly or broken teeth in their mouth. They should be checked by a vet and the bad teeth removed. If a tooth breaks off, the vet needs to check if the root came out too, because if it's still in the jaw then a nasty infection can take hold.

Two of our adult cats had a fang taken out. One had cracked hers when she landed wrong from a jump. The other had a black hole in the base (cavity) and it went in as far as the nerve so the vet got those out soon as we could get an appointment. Another had a broken side molar, HOW that happened we couldn't figure, he's handicapped and doesn't climb on things, he had snapped it off the root and it was barely attached, hanging there. Happened on a Sunday too, so we had to go to the emergency vet. Another one jumped down from a chain link fence and missed his footing on the driveway, snapping off his fang at the base--we got him in to get that taken out soon as we could catch him, he was in terrible pain from that. It happens, cats often crack or chip teeth in jumps, if they're not paying attention to how they land or if they fall from a height. The jaw is the first thing hitting the ground after the feet.

Are dogs suppoed to lose teeth? (I hav a Pekingese)?

My dog is abt 6 to 7 monts old, and he lost a tooth while we were playing with a toy, and the tooth was stuck to the ball, which we threw out. Is this normal? (Sorry if it's stupid...)

Are dogs suppoed to lose teeth? (I hav a Pekingese)?
Yeah, it's normal. Although many dogs will swallow their baby teeth or lose them in places the owners don't end of finding them.
Reply:Yes it's normal. You should expect all of his puppy teeth to fall out.
Reply:Yes. Dogs loose teeth during teething when the baby teeth need to make room for the permanent Adult teeth.
Reply:yes they lose their baby teeth just like people
Reply:Yes! Dogs lose teeth just like kids to make room for adult teeth.
Reply:Yup! Puppies lose their baby teeth to make room for their adult teeth, just like humans.
Reply:I think dogs have "baby teeth" like people, he should grow in an adult tooth in its place.

j
Reply:Puppies will lose their baby teeth just like children do. New adult teeth will start growing in very quickly. Your vet will check them on your next visit to be sure all is ok. My puppy started losing hers at 4 months.
Reply:Do babies lose their teeth to grow their new teeth,The answere you get is your answer...
Reply:Yes, absolutely fine. I wish someone would've told me when I got my dog - I was playing with him, doing the whole tug of war thing, and then four of his teeth flew out and he rocketed backwards from the force! Bless him! He's OK though, and he has a full set of beautiful teeth.
Reply:Ya totally!!!!!!
Reply:Yes very normal at that age..... could be an issue in an older dog, and Peks do have some dental issues.
Reply:Yes. All puppies loose their baby teeth as they grow. This makes room for their adult teeth. Don't worry. Slowly all of your puppies baby teeth will fall out.
Reply:yes they do loose teeth like humans dont u remember when u start loosing teeth?????????
Reply:I felt the same way when my Lab was losing teeth! It is very normal, it is just like how us humans lose teeth and why.
Reply:Yes, this is normal for a 6-7 month old puppy. Just like human children loose their baby teeth, puppies loose their puppy teeth, which are then replaced with adult teeth. If this happens when your dog is older, like after he is 10-12 months old or so, consult a vet because adult teeth should not just fall out.

I wanna boyfriend. My teeth are like a leash to keep me from going astray & losing my mind. Blessing or What?

My top set of teeth are not perfect but my bottom ones are. one of my front teeth kinda sticks out a lot and my smile is ruined when I show them. This problem helps when I should be focusing on important things in life and not getting carried away about boys. I have a pretty smile without the teeth but talking kinder wards off boys if you know what I mean. Soon I am getting braces. Can any guy tell me does this really matter when they like a girl? I'm Desperate!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I wanna boyfriend. My teeth are like a leash to keep me from going astray %26amp; losing my mind. Blessing or What?
Good teeth can make an amazing difference to a person.

I'm talking more about you than people who look at you. You are obviously self conscious about your teeth and you probably don't smile as much as you want to and that shows in your personality and how you talk to people.

I've known a lot of people who are very self conscious about their teeth and as a result, aren't very outgoing and seem shy, even though they aren't. Once they had their teeth fixed, they became new people. More outgoing and other noticed them more.
Reply:Not to me it doesn't and free also
Reply:Your teeth do not matter, they are an excuse. You matter. The kind of person you are, the things you do, the way you think are the things that will attract males. Guys are guys, guys are attracted to all girls initially, girls turn guys off with different things that do not matter. Stop worrying about your teeth and smile-not smiling is a turn off. Not smiling means you are not happy. Grin big, laugh from the belly, enjoy life, and guys will come to you.
Reply:its ok as a man i can say that your teeth is not that big of a deal if thair clean if belive in yourself and happy with you and who you are that will make you pretty
Reply:don't do it to get a man, do it for yourself.

How many teeth can I have missing without losing my "Non-White Trash" status?

I'm thinking of knocking out the front two and putting in one big gold tooth so I look classy.

How many teeth can I have missing without losing my "Non-White Trash" status?
You could be missing ALL your teeeeeeeeeeeth and be non-white trash in my eyes. Just think, if you have 1 big tooth instead of 2 teeeeeeeeeeeeeth, you don't have as much to floss, or you'll never have a peice of food or something, that everyone is stairing at, but fail to tell you, when you're talking to them!

Reply:don't why would u do that ? pay a lot of money for something ugly??? it wont look classy
Reply:There are two problems w/ this question.

1. You assume anyone missing teeth is white trash. My rich-@ZZ uncle ain't got no teeth and he ain't white trash.

2. How many white trash do you see with gold teeth? That's a different kind of trash.
Reply:none .......gold teeth are the farthest thing from classy they scream flavor flav
Reply:...YOU B*sturd ,you made me laugh!
Reply:I believe it's spelled "gol toof".

I could be mistaken though.
Reply:it doesnt matter how many teeth you have it matters how white the ones you have are.

the whiter the less trashy
Reply:You're kidding right?
Reply:I would think that you can afford to lose just one. Most trashy chicks have lost two. But, it depends on the location. You could lose a bunch of molars and still appear non-white trash. So, in sum, I think that you can knock out only one of the front two.
Reply:That will only work if you wear a wife beater and saggy threadbare sweatpants.
Reply:Actually what you are planning to do will cause you to lose non-white trash status.
Reply:lol do it
Reply:someones gonna get jealous
Reply:holy sh!t that will be so awesome. i've been looking for a man that has that white trash sex appeal
Reply:its not the teeth, its the attitude
Reply:My husband has several cousins that are pure white trash and they have beautiful teeth...I have to agree with Johnny Trash it is the attitude.

Peace.
Reply:True white trash have teeth like a Harley gearbox, 1 down, 4 up lol.

teeth whitening - use the crest whitestrips everyday following the directions until they are gone. after that, i use hydrogen peroxide every other day. i gargle it in my mouth for ten minutes. usually while i am in the shower or taking a bath. your teeth will be incredibly whiter.

planning your wedding - the everything wedding book by shelly hagen or theknot.com

losing weight - ediets.com it is like $12 a month and gives great diet tips, exercise tips, and even lets you do a grocery list.

eating properly - see above

stop smoking - can't help you with this one. this is my only vice still. i have tried to quit smoking and i can't

ugly feet and calluses - go get a pedicure and get one once a month. you will have the most beautiful feet after this.

any don't worry you are not a mess. all women go through each and every one of these. they also go through these at the same time.
Reply:You are feeling like a mess because your wedding is coming up. Take things one by one, starting with the longer-term issues.

Eating properly will help you lose weight, plus a little exercise. If you work, try going for a walk for half an hour during your lunch hour. As regards the diet, try the sparkpeople site below, which is free and highly recommended by some, or Weightwatchers have an online plan, which will cost. Try to drink plenty of water each day, not exceeding the recommended amount.

Stopping smoking is tricky. Part of the worry for many people is that you will put on huge amounts of weight. In general the maximum amount of weight put on is up to 9-10 pounds, but many people don't put on that much, maybe just 3 or 4 pounds, and it will come off again. It might be worth visiting your doctor's surgery and see if they have someone you can talk to about giving up smoking and what method (i.e. nicotine patches, gum, etc) would best suit you. It seems to be a good idea to plan to give up smoking, i.e. have a day to start, know what action you are going to take when those cravings set in, and have a support system, whether its members of your family, friends or colleagues.

Although there are many home systems for whitening teeth, it may still be best to visit your dentist, who knows the condition of your teeth and will be able to give you the best treatment for whitening.

And your feet ... ask around and find a chiropodist that comes highly recommended. The chiropodist will help treat your problem, but you may need to also look at underlying causes. Are you wearing correctly fitting shoes, length and width? The chiropodist should be able to advise you on prevention measures too. It also might be a good idea to get one of those foot spas, which are fairly cheap these days, and use it at least once a week. Not only for your feet, but it means you will have to sit down and relax for a little while. Use a nice aromatherapy essence in the water, and just chill for a bit.

Now your feet are like new, don't forget your hands and nails. Get yourself a good handcream and use it regularly, and it doesn't hurt to rub a little of the excess into your elbows to stop them being dry. And if your fingernails are not in good condition, pop along for an early visit to a manicurist to get them sorted out, and go back again before your wedding to have them looking beautiful for the big day, when that wedding ring slides on to your finger for the first time.

That leaves your hair. Here your hairdresser needs to be your best friend. Concentrate on keeping your hair in the best possible condition, and talk to your hairdresser about what look you want on the day and if that is realistic given the cut and condition of your hair. Remember to go along for a practice wedding hairdo at least two weeks before your wedding, taking any headgear, so that both you and your hairdresser are confident that it is going to work.

Your makeup for the big day is important. If you are planning to do it yourself or with the help of a family member or friend, then practise putting it on several times, and wear it for a few hours, so that you are happy your look works and stays on for the necessary length of time. If you are going to use a professional to put on your makeup, make sure you have a full consultancy with him/her and have at least one practice run.

I would also recommend that you try on your full wedding outfit with accessories at least a week before the wedding, to make sure everything fits and goes on as you plan. Don't forget to buy your shoes well in advance, and wear them around the house to wear them in so they are comfortable for your wedding day.

And underneath that beautiful wedding dress ensure you are wearing lingerie that does your figure justice. If you haven't already, go and get professionally measured for the correct size of bra either at a lingerie shop or department store. The correct size will make all the difference, feeling comfortable and shaping you correctly, and will do justice to your wedding dress. You may also want to consider "big pants" that will hold your shape and not show a Visible Panty Line.

The final web address is a for a free basic wedding planner, that covers all the basics and gives a countdown.

The point of all the planning for your wedding day and putting in the time doing it, is you will have a magnificent day and everything will go well and be special for you and your new husband. Enjoy your special day!
Reply:Hi

This plan really worked for me as I lost a lot of weight so here goes,

If you are serious about losing weight, the calories in the food you eat should be less than the energy you use. You will have to increase your metabolic rate now, and plan your diet carefully.

Formulate your own weight loss plan and you will lose weight faster. More details available at http://tinyurl.com/m7ckx

RELAX! You need to take one thing at a time and only worry about that one thing. Once it is completed, then you can move on to the next issue. I would start with the sleep since that is the most important. I would recommend taking something OTC like Advil PM or Tylenol PM until your body gets into a more normal cycle. Eating properly is up to you- you need to cut out all soda immediately- the caffeine is only counteracting everything good you are trying to accomplish. You will be amazed at how wonderful you feel once you drink 8-10 glasses of water a day and how fast the weight drops off of you. As for your feet- get a pedicure. That will solve that problem immediately. I would not recommend quitting smoking until you accomplish omst of the things listed above. If you try to do all of these and quit as well...you will go crazy! Remember that you have time and just relax and take one thing at a time...one day at a time. It will work out for you!
Reply:well my advice is as follows, watch what you eat eat lots of small salads and work out as much as you can, for the teeth whitiening it depends on the day of the wedding the best thing to do is start going now, because it takes a couple of visits depending on were you get it done. go to a podiatrist and get the feet checked out. if you cant sleep i suggest ambien it helps. and stay stress free i know its hard but you can do it. Im planning a huge party and i have the same problems. so i hope this helps.
Reply:One thing at a time gurl! Jeepers!

Congrats on getting married :]

Just take one thing at a time..... ask yourself why are you stopping smoking?.. for me it was a health risk... I do not know why smokers don't realise how scary a stroke or thrombosis can be.

Eating properly is easy just introduce more fruit and veg into your diet and cut out saturated fats... no deep friend stuff.. or at least try and have that stuff once a week even maybe twice a month.

Callouses can be filed down if I remember correctly.

Talk with your Fiance about what you two would like for your wedding.. gather information about venues etc...

Before bed drink some herbal tea to help with sleep.. chamomile for example..
Reply:for ur teeth u could do bleaching at the dentist though that actualy harms your teeth in the long run, according to my dad at least, he's a dentist. he recommends normal polishing at the dentists regularly, that's cheaper anyhow. for weight loss, try reductil, it's a doctor prescribed pill from the uk that cheats ur brain into thinking ur full but it's not to be taken for more than 6 months. it works wonders though you lose like 3kg a week. anyway the healthier alternative is still to go do the gym n do cardio n light weigts. as for ur feet, apply lots and lots of moisturiser, oh yeah n if u wanna lose weight, cut the carb and stop eating at least 3 hours before bedtime. hope that helps. anyway chill out. =D
Reply:Hi Christina, Congrats on your upcoming wedding!! First off, deep breath....it's going to be ok..and great! Second, if you want some great products to try for your losing weight and callouses on your feet a great company is Arbonne that carry superior products. They have a weight loss program called Figure 8 Weight Loss system and they have a body lotion that totally clears up dry skin. If you want some before and after pictures go to my website http://www.wonderful.myarbonne.com and sign my guestbook letting me know that you got there from here and ask me for the before and after pictures. I will need your address to send them to you. Good luck to you!!

Is it normal for a eight to ten month old dog to lose teeth?

She has a few side teeth lost but her front teeth are still completly there.

Is it normal for a eight to ten month old dog to lose teeth?
No, puppies start teething at 4 months of age and are finished long before 8 months. If this dog's losing teeth, she needs a trip to the vet to find out what's wrong.
Reply:no, quite abnormal
Reply:Dogs and cats loose their teeth just like children. They should grow back soon.
Reply:Puppies are babies, and just like babies/kids, they teeth. It's normal. Her adult teeth are coming in.
Reply:Sure, just like humans, they get adult teeth.
Reply:Yes, dogs have baby teeth just like people.
Reply:Dogs and cats lose their teeth just like young children do. If you don't see them growing back in a few weeks I would definetly recommend bringing her to the vet but if she's not whining in pain or anything I would just assume that she's losing her baby teeth. Normally you wouldn't even notice this but it sounds like she lost a few at once which obviously would make this more noticable.
Reply:First off, has she already lost her baby teeth?

If she has then there may be a problem. If she hasn't then

she is just getting her adult teeth just like a child would.

If you're unsure still, have your vet check her out for you.
Reply:Yes, that is unusual. Are you sure about her age? Pups begin to lose their baby teeth at about four months of age, starting with the incisors (the front teeth). The molars and pre-molars are the last to go, usually at about six months. The adult teeth are fully in at eight months. If she is losing her baby teeth, she is probably younger than you thought. Baby pre-molars look fairly small for the size of the dog, are somewhat sharp and are the color of skim milk. Adult teeth look proportionate, are not as sharp and are the color of cream. If she is losing her adult teeth, call the vet. She could have an infection or injury.
Reply:yes. dogs loose one set of teeth just like humans
Reply:I was told that dogs lose it's baby teeth like humans. I notice my puppy lost the side teeth around this age, but just can't find the lost teeth. I've looked everywhere, and still can't find it. My guess was that dogs swallow it's teeth when it fell off.
Reply:Dogs usually lose their baby teeth earlier than that. However, your dog may be a late bloomer.
Reply:This is definately normal. Dogs loose their teeth just like kids do. Some teeth fall out early because they are just "caps". Other teeth take awhile longer because they have deeper roots. It's also completely safe for the dogs to swallow thier teeth, they just come out the other end. Within a few days the new teeth will appear. Absolutely nothing to worry about!

I had a mold made for a dental night guard, has anyone lost teeth from the making of the mold?

I finally broke down and started the process for a dental night guard. They kept telling me to get one but the price ($265 for soft) kept me from getting it. After going for cleanings every 3 months etc I figured maybe I should get one. I had bought one from the local drug store for about $30 -you micro wave it and then put into cold water but when trying to mold it I made a hole with my molars. So I fugured it was time. However when I went to get the mold made I was really surprised at how hard the stuff got, how it felt like it was going down my throat and would choak me. Then when they went to put it off it was like really yanking and I thought my teeth would come out with it, and I would lose my crown, that I already had had an Apico on. My kids had these molds made for their braces, now I wonder how I could have subjected my kids to this! So has anyone has a bad experience with teeth falling out, choaking or anything else?

I had a mold made for a dental night guard, has anyone lost teeth from the making of the mold?
it feels like your teeth will be yanked from your gums.. but they aren't

It feels like you will choke.. Its from panicking

if you ever have a mold made again.. concentrate on your toes instead.. its mind over matter

I have never heard about any permanent damage from making a mold of your mouth
Reply:The mold does become pretty tough, but you'd be surprised at how tough your teeth are, too. I once had this done at the dentist and I thought for sure I was going to choke and/or my teeth would get pulled out but once that thing popped out of my mouth, I was fine.
Reply:I have been a dental assistant for over 7 years. We have taken many impressions and I have never taken a tooth out, and trust me, we have patients with some pretty loose teeth sometimes. It isn't comfortable because it does feel like you are choking, but it's all very safe.
