Do puppies lose teeth like children do?

I have a 7 month old Pomeranian and some of her top teeth are very loose... Are puppies supposed to lose their teeth?

Do puppies lose teeth like children do?
Yes, usually they swallow them, at 7mths he should have lost most puppy teeth already but still be cutting molars.
Reply:Yes, they get replaced by adult teeth.

Don't worry if they just go missing and you don't find them - usually they eat them.
Reply:yup they will lose them and grow in adult teeth...usually you don't even notice they lost teeth but there is the odd time you will find a puppy tooth on the ground around your house.
Reply:yes, it is perfectly normal for puppies to lose their teeth at 6 to 7 months of age. you can try to keep her from swallowing them, but if she does it's ok.it won't hurt.
Reply:Yes, but they generally lose their teeth between 4-5 months old. Most of the time you will not find the teeth that fall out, because the dog often swallows them. This does not harm the dog at all. The front teeth fall out first, with the molars coming in last. You may find that your pup chews on everything during this time period. Don't worry, it won't last long!
Reply:Yes, puppies do %26amp; are suppose to lose thier baby teeth.
Reply:yes but seven months is kind of old to be loosing her baby teeth
Reply:yes
Reply:Yeah I have two dogs and they both just lost a couple teeth!
Reply:Yes, they have puppy teeth. Don't be surprised. I found one of my dog's teeth in a toy of his!
Reply:yes puppies do lose teeth like children do. dont worry they will be replaced by adault teeth
Reply:yep, alot of times it goes unnoticed because they swallow them, happes pretty early and they grow in rather fast, nothing to worry about though they will fall out when they are ready, give the dog a bone to help speed it up some.
Reply:Yes they lose their teeth just like children. It also makes them want to chew even more! I use to put my dog's rope bone in the freezer for a while and let her chew on it. She seemed to like it.
Reply:Yes. My dog (now 7 and a half) lost some of his teeth when he was a puppy. He came up to me and was whimpering and holding open his mouth. I had a look and saw blood. You can guess what my reaction was being on 8 years old at the time! No. It is perfectly normal.
Reply:Dogs arent supposed to loose teeth but if you get her bones to chew and chew toys thats ssaid to help them keep their teeth healty.
