Do kittens lose teeth? like babys?
Yes, your kitten should already have some adult teeth and other may still be coming in. And that's how it works, you usually find them on the floor. The adult teeth push the baby teeth out. It can be hard to see where they lost them sometime. Usually with the canines(the big fangs) it's a little easier, you'll see the two sets of canines(baby %26amp; adult) seated very close togther before the baby ones come out.

When you kitten's Adult teeth come in:

-Center (4) Incisors (front teeth between the canines) 3-1/2 to 4 months (14-16 weeks)

-Outer Incisors (still beaten the canines) 4 to 4-1/2 months (16-18 weeks)

-Canines 5 months

-Upper molars (called a premolar) 4-1/2 to 6 months (depending on tooth)

-Lower molars (called a premolar) 5-6 months for all

-Upper molar in back, no baby tooth, just the molar at 4-5 months
Reply:Yes, they do.
Reply:Yes, they will eventually lose all their baby teeth.
Reply:yes, so do puppies
Reply:Yes kittens lose their teeth usually they start to lose the kitten teeth and start to gain the adult teeth about 11 to 13 weeks. The new teeth aren't as sharp as little needles like the kitten teeth.
Reply:Yes, kittens do lose teeth and a second set grow back. My kitten is 6 months now and I last found a couple of teeth round the scratching post a couple of weeks ago.
Reply:Yes, they do. We don't tell them about the tooth fairy as we don't know exactly what they might expect under their pillow for the lost tooth!

Yes, cats and dogs lose their baby teeth just like humans do. The last ones to be lost are the large canine ones at around six months. You might want to keep and eye on their mouths every once in a while because sometimes the adult teeth do come in, but they do not end up pushing the baby teeth out. When this happens infection in the gums and mouth can happen. If the teeth are not pushed out all the way, a trip to the vet's is needed. They will be able to pull the baby tooth or teeth out.
