Is it okay for a puppy to lose teeth?

my puppy lost one of his teeth...hes lik 4 months is this normal r they supposed to lose their teeth?

Is it okay for a puppy to lose teeth?
It's normal for a pup to lose their baby teeth just like you did. Try to keep him well supplied with chew toy's. Chew toy's feel good to the dog's mouth and it will help to keep him from chewing on thing's you don't want him to, like your shoes, the furniture, your clothing, etc. Good luck.
Reply:no

see a vet
Reply:Yes, this is normal. Like humans, they have baby teeth and adult teeth. Your puppy is fine, an adult tooth will grow in in its place.
Reply:not normal but probably OK
Reply:i think i mean humans loose'm why shoundnt dogs
Reply:It's OK with me.
Reply:As stated previously, puppies do lose teeth and then get adult teeth. It's normal, you just don't think about it because your dog doesn't pick the tooth up and put it under his pillow for the tooth fairy.
Reply:yes.....puppies need to loose their teeth to make room for their permanent teeth
Reply:yes they are just like human children whom lose there teeth! Maybe the puppy tooth fairy w/bring him or her a treat
Reply:yes...it happens 2 all dogs
Reply:Yes
Reply:Totally normal!! :) Just like humans loose their teeth, puppies do too. It is somewhat rare that you would notice, the puppy usually swallows the tooth subconsciously. But now that you have noticed, keep watch and I'm sure you'll notice a few more missing in the next month or so. Don't worry at all, you may even notice the tooth turn darker than another right before it falls out, this is also normal, do not worry about it. Your little puppy is growing up :) How Cute :) Good Luck
Reply:baby teeth fall out, adult teeth grow in............normal
Reply:yes it's normal, just like with kids, they're making room for adult teeth, nothing to worry about.
Reply:yes its normal they loose there teeth just like we do but they shouldnt lose there canines (vampire teeth) your pup might even bleed a little if he does give him a little milk it should stop it
Reply:Perfectly normal - puppies shed those sharp little needles for something more useful!

And don't panic when you play with him, and a tooth comes out in a tugatoy - it happens. Sometimes they get swallowed - don't worry about it.

I also recommend wearing shoes until he's finished - those puppy canines are *sharp*, and stepping on one is just not fun!
Reply:yes they loose baby teeth and get grown up ones just like we do. he should have most of his adult teeth by 7 months. in the mean time provide him with lots of things to chew on because that's all hes going to want to do. get a book at any local pet shop about raising and training puppies to give you some guidelines as what to expect and tips to train your puppy into a well behaved dog. good luck and have fun!
Reply:Yes this normal for puppies same as children
Reply:NOOOO take him to the denist right away!!!!!
Reply:yes it is ok for the teeth to come out because they are hes baby teeth he will get his real teeth after that!!!
Reply:Yes, dear...not to worry. It's perfectly normal. In that respect (and many others) they're just like infants. Their baby teeth drop out to make room for their permanent teeth. (^@^)
Reply:yup yup
Reply:if they are his baby teeth, they are small and pointy sometimes sharp. but just like people they get permenant teeth
Reply:yes this is normal,..according to my pup's vet,..like humans, pups lose their baby teeth too!...
