My tooth came loose and a fluid comes out and I extracted the tooth. Before, I went to a hospital to a specialist and she
couldn't see anything, she x-rayed. I read on the internet about
this disease about diabetics losing teeth but didn't print the story, my printer wasn't working, now it is.
People with diabetes can lose teeth, what disease is it. my dentist hasn't heard of it,?
FRANKLIN,
rppj, is indeed correct. Periodontal disease (aka, periodontitis), is the reason why diabetics or others lose their teeth.
Reply:diabetics tend to have dry mouths which cause more food to stick to teeth which causes more cavities and will cause tooth loss.
as for an actual disease that is causing this, i would call it poor oral hygiene.
Reply:as u know in diabetes FBS( fasting blood sugar ) rises and the bacteries use the same sugar wich is mostly glucose for metabolism thus ur body specially gums becom a better place for bacteries to grow and replicate and as the result they get infected and many diseases and abnormal situations apear in ur teeth
Reply:Diabetics are more prone to Periodontal Disease. This can be controlled by good oral hygiene and regular visits to your dental hygienist for professional cleaning. If you have already lost a tooth you need x-rays to evaluate the stability of the surrounding teeth and a discussion with your dentist and dental hygienist to develop a treatment plan to preserve and maintain the rest of your teeth.

What's the best toothpaste to use on teeth that are losing their enamel fast?
Why? If you're brushing too hard, try a softer brush. Use flouridated toothpast and gel to strengthen enamel. Stop all other habits (dietary, smoking, etc) than would impact your health negatively.
What's the best toothpaste to use on teeth that are losing their enamel fast?
A less abrasive toothpaste, such as a sensitive toothpaste. Along with adding a fluoride rinse to your daily regimen to help strengthen and keep the enamel you have left. Or, your dentist can prescribe a toothpaste called prevident which is a high dose fluoride toothpaste.
Reply:Try rising with ACT.
It's not a toothpaste but it helps
Reply:You need a toothpaste with more fluoride in it. You should have call a local dentist and see if they carry one with more fluoride than you can get OTC. My office carries a product called Control RX and it has 5x more fluoride than the over the counter ones. You also need to use a very soft tooth brush. Also do not brush too hard which can cause more damage to the enamel and tissues.

Should i have my 4 year olds cavities filled even though he will eventually be losing his baby teeth??
You can not be serious. One cavities hurt. Two, they breed infection. Three, the teeth will end up with big holes and rotting. Four, he still has a while before he looses those teeth. Five, not having them filled is negligence and could be reported to DFACS by your sons school. Six, when the cavities start to lead to infection his gums get infected which in turn hurts his permanent teeth. Seven, his permanent teeth are directly under his baby teeth and can already receive damage. Eight, the cavities can get bad enough to need a root canal also called a pulpotomy even though its a primary tooth. So do you see where this is going. Get your sons teeth fixed.
Added: I saw where someone reccommened Sealants. You CAN NOT put a sealant over a cavity. The tooth will continue to decay under the sealant. You can only put sealants on healthy teeth.
Should i have my 4 year olds cavities filled even though he will eventually be losing his baby teeth??
Of course. These can become abcessed and cause your child a great deal of pain and an infection. They have also noticed that these teeth that are allowed to rot out, the permanent teeth also become prone to getting cavities.
Reply:Yes, because it could go all the way down to his permanent teeth.
Reply:If they're pretty bad, yes.
Cavities in baby teeth can penetrate and infect the permanent teeth, if they're bad enough. If they're tiny, then I might not worry about them, and just pay closer attention to my kids' dental hygiene.
Reply:yes because it can cause the perm. teeth to rot
Reply:Tooth decay can spread to the budding permanent teeth.
Reply:You should be asking your dentist this but I would say yes. Just because they are not your child's permanent teeth, neglecting them could possibly cause permanent damage.
Reply:YES. I know i thought the same thing with my daughter. But it was the best thing i ever did. I know she will be losing those teeth, but they will just keep getting worse and causing her pain. It's better just to have them filled for her sake.
Reply:I would say yes. I have been told that if the cavity gets to bad it can rot out the new tooth that would grow in. I had my sons teethe filled when he was 5.
Reply:Yes, he should keep his baby teeth for as long as possible, as they will help the spacing for his permanent teeth.
Reply:Yes!! You must! I'm sorry you are having to ask people online about this. Not only is your preschooler facing pain in the near future, but the spacing of his permanant teeth can really be affected. I don't like to pass judgement in these "forums" but this is a serious question that I think all dentists would have the same answer for. Please help your son get the help he needs.
Reply:When your child's first molars grow in around age six, the deep pits and fissures in these back teeth are difficult to clean. Children may have poor brushing habits and snack frequently, which also contribute to increased frequency of tooth decay at an early age.
Dental sealants may be a solution to the problem. A sealant is a thin plastic coating applied to the chewing surfaces of the back teeth. By filling in the teeth's grooves, sealants create a barrier against food and bacteria that cause decay. Because there is no drilling involved when applying sealants, there is no loss of tooth structure and no discomfort. Sealants can be applied by a registered dental hygienist or a dentist and take less time than having a tooth filled
Reply:Oh my God- you have a 4 year old with cavities?! I've never heard of a child that young with cavities! You need to speak to your sons dentist, start using better oral hygiene for your son and cut WAY back on the sugary snacks and drinks. Do your little boy a favor, for God's sake!
Reply:ABSOLUTELY!!!! It could cause problems with his permanent teeth if left untreated. Not to mention that he could get infections that can make him very sick and cause him a lot of pain. It is much better to just have the cavities filled and as soon as possible.

My daughter just turned 6 years old, at what age do they begin losing the baby teeth?
Hi
Your daughter will probably shed her lower central incisors first at 6-7 years.
To see a cute animation from the American Dental Association about tooth shedding go to this link

My daughter just turned 6 years old, at what age do they begin losing the baby teeth?
My son just lost his first baby tooth a month ago, he will be six in January.
Reply:Don't you remember the tooth fairy? They lose their baby teeth from 5-12 years old.
Reply:everyone is different but i have seen kids start as early as 4 1/2 and as late as 8
Reply:My son is almost 8, and he has only lost 2 of his baby teeth. He lost the first one when he was 7. However, my nephew who is almost 7 has already lost 5 of his baby teeth.
It is all very individual, and according to my son's dentist, there is no cause for concern, because some kids don't lose their last baby teeth until they are 10.
:-)
Reply:The average age of children losing their teeth is when they are five or six years old
Reply:My son had the strongest baby teeth ever, unbelievable roots. He was about your daughter's age when he noticed teeth coming in behind his baby teeth. Short answer, all of his baby teeth had to be pulled at various times by the dentist. I think it varies from child to child. Ask your child to let you know if a tooth feels loose or if she feels teeth trying to come in behind.
Reply:anytime now if she has good healthy teeth it might be later like 8. my oldest daughter is 25 and still has 1 baby tooth up front. no adult tooth to replace it though, she really has to take care of it.
Reply:ALL KIDS ARE DIFFERENT BUT BOTH MY SONS STARTED LOSING TEETH AT 4 1/2 MY SOON IS NOW 7 AND HAS JUST LOST HIS 8TH TOOTH AND MY 5 YEAR OLD IS ON HIS 3RD AND FOURTH

How do you know if you're losing enamel on your teeth...?
and how do you fix it?
Lately I've been searching the internet for ways to whiten my teeth, and I've always used peroxide. Well the past two times I've done it, I used baking soda. Now, the bottom of my teeth are becoming a different shade of white.
I'm pretty sure it's the enamel, but it only happened a couple days ago when I woke up, and by the end of the day it's usually almost back to normal, but when I wake up the next day, they're discolored again.
What can I do to fix the enamel!!?!??!
How do you know if you're losing enamel on your teeth...?
SHOE,
ONE DOESN'T LOSE ENAMEL BY BLEACHING THE TEETH.
YOU MAY HARM THE TOOTH STRUCTURE THAT HOLDS THE ENAMEL TO THE TOOTH, THE DENTIN. IF/WHEN YOU DO THIS YOU MAY FEEL EXTRA SENSITIVITY TO COLD. THE ENAMEL IS AS HARD AS GLASS. YOU CAN'T HARM IT EXCEPT WITH NAIL FILES, EMERY BOARDS AND DENTAL DRILLS.
THE IMPORTANT THING TO DO IS NOT TO DRINK OR EAT FOODS THAT WILL DARKEN YOUR TEETH AFTER THEY'RE BLEACHED. STAY AWAY FROM TEA, COFFEE, GRAPE JUICE OR COLA.
Reply:You cant fix the enamel on your teeth. Even brushing your teeth too hard can cause you to loose the enamel. Which will make your teeth feel sensitive to cold and hot liquids. Go and see a dentist.

What can females do to improve their looks? Besides losing weight, tanning, teeth whitening, and good hair cut
Attitude, attitude, attitude. Self confidence and class is *key* to attractiveness. It will affect your looks, and how people perceive them, a thousand percent. People will judge the exact same person as more physically attractive if they stand up straight, smile, look them in the eye, and have an outgoing, fun, confident nature (but not obnoxiously so...lol!) If people sense you are trying too hard with your looks to make up for a lack of self esteem, it can work against you. Practice works. The more you act confident, the more you will feel it.
If you're speaking of strictly physical, good skin care is also key. Make sure you are moisturized and glowing. Sallow or dull skin can completely detract from a person's looks. Use a skin scrub and loofa gloves at the end of your shower to get rid of the dead cells. Afterward, my personal favorite is Neutrogena Sesame Oil over my entire body (keep your hair away from it!) It smells light and great, and looks awesome on the skin. It's very light, soaks in, and has never clogged my pores. You can get it at pretty much any drugstore.

Stop comparing yourself to stick thin models with fake hair, teeth, skin, you name it. Everyone is suppose to look different, everyone is unique. How boring it would be if we all looked alike. Personally, I will not spend my time trying to figure out how to look better. I spend my time being happier with who I am and where I am in life. When you die, people will remember you for the person you were and how you treated others. They will not remember you for how tan your skin was or how white your teeth were.

I dreamed of losing all of my teeth then suddenly in a flash they all grew back better than before. help pls?
I would interpret it as a good dream to a certain extent. I would relate it to something negative happening in your life but turning into a positive experience. This can be a good thing. I would not worry about it. Sometimes change is a good thing. Hope it works out for you in a good way!

Teeth Falling Out Dreams
Remember when you were a child and a loose tooth was an exciting event? Remember how you pulled at it, gradually loosening it up until it finally fell from your gums, into your hands and you slipped it under your pillow with excitement knowing the tooth fairy was well on her way? Why isn't that same excitement present in tooth loss dreams? One reason is because we are adults now. Whereas childhood tooth loss meant transitioning from a child to a grown-up, adult tooth loss means transitioning from a grown-up to growing old. Growing old puts us face to face with death and few people find much excitement in that transition.
Of all the dreams I get requests to interpret, tooth loss dreams are in the top ten. Actually, they are not so much requests for interpretation as pleas for reassurance. There is something very disturbing about these dreams--not only in the content but in the emotion that comes along with them. And it is in the emotional content of the dream that we find the biggest clue to its translation.
The next time you dream about losing teeth, before trying to figure out what it means, ask yourself how the dream made you feel. Oftentimes, it is not the dream of the teeth falling out that creates the disturbance to the psyche but the feelings that accompany the dream. There is often a feeling of helplessness, of powerlessness--the teeth are coming out and there is nothing the dreamer can do to stop the process. Sometimes teeth fall out, sometimes they are simply missing, sometimes they crumble away. Whichever way they make their exit, the dreamer is left with not only a gap in her smile, but a hole in her heart when she awakens.
If feelings of loss of control, helplessness or powerlessness accompany your tooth loss dream, the dream is typically acting as a mirror of a situation in waking life. Dreams of tooth loss coupled with anxiety reflect a fear of change, fear of transition. Ask yourself if there is some transition that you are fearful of making.
Sometimes tooth loss dreams point to a fear of failure or embarrassment. In waking life, when people lose teeth, they often cover their mouths when talking or smiling. Is there something you want to do but are afraid of undertaking because you fear you'll look foolish if you fail? Or is there something going on in your waking life that you feel you must hide or 'cover up'?
Losing teeth in dreams can also point to insecurity about finances. In physical waking life, teeth are what we use to take in sustenance, to keep our bodies fit and nourished, and they are often lost when malnutrition is present. In order to take in nourishment we must be able to 'support' ourselves. Are you worried that you will lose the ability to take care of yourself or are you already not taking care of your needs? Nourishing ourselves comes in many forms, not just our bodily needs--we must nourish our minds, spirits, and hearts as well as our bodies. Is there any aspect of your life that feels like an empty hole?
Tooth loss dreams may also symbolize a fear of abandonment, of being left behind with no recourse. Look at your relationships and see if any of them are leaving you with feelings of insecurity. Another interesting way of translating tooth loss dreams may be a fear of giving away too much information, a spilling of secrets, or a fear of being lied to.
While most of these translations sound pretty grim, keep in mind that these are all symbols of how you are feeling. They are not prophecies of doom, or omens that all of the fears you're carrying around are on the verge of coming to pass. These dreams, like all others, are report cards from the psyche, clues to how our consciousness and unconsciousness is handling the events of our waking life. Understanding their nightly messages help us more successfully navigate our daily activities--even the ones that scare us or fill us with feelings of dread.
Until next time, sleep well and dream out loud!
Reply:omg this must be teeth week cause my teeth hurt and i had a dream my tooth was loose and that i had braces
Reply:I have read that dreams where you lose teeth are (like everything Freudian) signs of sexual repression or frustration. I don't know what it means to have them come back better than before, but I have a feeling you are to be congratulated!! LOL.
Reply:Have you been in bad health? I read this in a dream analogy book about losing or teeth falling out being a sign of bad health. If your teeth came back better than ever, you will recover your health. There have been members of my family to have the dream of losing your teeth while experiencing problems with their health. How about your health? I would be interested to know if you have been have problems like that.
Reply:Your going to end up buck-tooth and blind, lol
Reply:Well...if you're old to where you've lost all your "baby teeth" then this dream could be the fast foward transition of losing your baby teeth and having your adult teeth grow in....
Or...this can be a dream of hope - you're teeth will be fixed (via braces or something else...) and they'll be perfect, or as you put, better than ever.
cheers.
Reply:I've heard before that if you have a dream of losing your teeth, someone close to you is pregnant....
Reply:dreams have no ties to your future, unless you are as unwise as to act upon them

Reply:According to my dream book losing your teeth means you will have burdens which will crush your pride and demolish your affairs. It doesn't say anything about them growing back but I would assume that means that you will overcome
Reply:well if you have teeth trouble, like need braces or anything this is probably saying by losing those teeth it will all be fixed, or its saying fix your teeth.

Reply:I think subconsciously you're afraid of losing your teeth. Have you been putting off going to a dentist in fear of finding out you have a lot of cavities or maybe you'll need a root canal? Or did somebody like your mom or dad say you're eating too much candy and that it's bad for your teeth? Dreams don't have to have a meaning all the time. Sometimes they just mean you've been thinking about something consciously or subconsciously and it might be bothering you deep inside.

Reply:Probably means your going to have some major change.

Chew toys. Ropes with knots are a favorite at my house.

Cold baby carrots with the skin removed. They love them and it helps them with the teething problem.
Reply:Usually the swallow them, but the puppy will be just fine, dont worry about it. Do get some chewy things for the puppy so it can ease the pain.
Reply:When my puppy was teething I purchased toys and treats aimed at puppies that were teething. She enjoyed these toys and as for the treats they were a type of rawhide treat for puppies that she just knawed at. The process goes by fast, when I got her she was 4 months old and teething now @ 6 months old she has almos tall (but two) adult teeth.
Reply:try giving him some play toys or something like that. that should help with the teething. to stop the bleeding try typing into to google a search for because i am not totally sure and i wouldnt want to tell you something that wasnt true.

Reply:Rarely will it bother the puppy to lose their teeth. They're rather like little kids-only little kids realize they can't chew with that hole in their jaw. =)
Reply:Get him lots and lots of chew toys. When my dog was a baby and starting losing it's baby teeth, it chewed on EVERYTHING. Shoes, chairs, anything. So, keep him occupied. Or else, you'll regret it. Those pups love to chew. If it's mouth starts bleeding, it's not that bad, just put a tissue to it, or leave it alone, it'll stop. But remember: protect your shoes...
Reply:try ice cubes. my dog still thinks there a snack. rubbing the gums lightly with your finger also helps soothe , just like with babies.
Reply:if its still a young puppy they will lose there teeth and as they get older they loose them aswell try getting from the chemist VIDOL powders or Teejel or what ever they can give you that they would sell a mother for her baby that is teething to numb it a bit but when it bleeds have your dog lick ice or something very cold to quaterize it or give her a sponge to chew so it absorbes it and stops the bleeding dont worry its nothing to worry about if you are seroiusly paniced take her to your closest vet..

At what age will my young dragon start losing his baby teeth? He is chewing on everything in sight?
Chewing on things is a good way to know that he is about to lose them, he is loosening them up, soon you will find them embedded in everything he chews on, coffee table, chair legs and such.
At what age will my young dragon start losing his baby teeth? He is chewing on everything in sight?
Give him a fireproof chew bone Feona.
Reply:As you know, dragons live until the age of 300. They have a full set of teeth by age 20, however, they keep replacing broken teeth all the time, kind of like a shark, as you know they live off gargoyles and other tasty, crunchy titbits. They have been known to accidently bite off a knight's finger from time to time. As they get old, they get forgetful about who they should protect. So, to answer your question, your baby dragon will probably have a full set of teeth by the time he's 2-3 years old, so you will just have to be patient and keep all valuable objects out of reach.
Reply:They never fully lose all their baby teeth, you actually have to pull them so the new ones come in. If you go to your local pharmacy, you can pickup up some Dragon Teeth-B-Gone. It's in the same Isle as the Dragon Mite-Away.
Reply:Are we talking a kimono dragon or maybe puff the magic dragons kid. Do you have a puppy or kitten or kitten thats chewing on everything in sight and you are blaming it on the dragon. I'm thinking in the next 6 months to a year he should lose his baby teeth. Maybe you should call your vet and ask him or her.
Good luck

On average how long should it take before adult teeth grow in after losing the baby teeth?
sit back and relax - it takes a while. for each person its different, so even if it is taking an unusually long time - it is fine. the tooth is still there. Now if you are really worried - there may a problem - like the tooth may be stuck behind a bone or another tooth - then go see a dentist and he will be able to tell easily by taking an xray. in some very rare cases the person may be missing a tooth ( most of the times that happens with wisdom teeth - they are the ones that grow in after or around 17 yrs of age) - but that is a good thing - less teeth to take out since wisdom teeth need to be surgically removed anyway. if you have any other specific concerns - ask me =)

Is it bad that I am losing my wisdom teeth stitches considerably less than 7-10 days following surgery?
I just spat out several stitches and then almost choked on one after a warm water rinse. I had surgery on Tuesday, and started feeling them coming loose on Thursday. I called because of the slight stinging pain this caused, and they said a loose stitch wasn't a big deal. But now they are coming out in chunks, which probably explains why the slight stinging pain has turned into a pain akin to a knife slashing the inside of my mouth every time I move it. The warm water rinse helped, but now the stitches are coming completely out. As it is 4:24 Saturday am, I can't exactly reach the dr to make sure it's okay, so I am wondering if this is bad? I think it will be okay, but I want to know for sure.
Is it bad that I am losing my wisdom teeth stitches considerably less than 7-10 days following surgery?
A stitch placed after extraction serves two purposes. One is to lessen the wound size and stop bleeding and the other is faster healing of the wound. Stitches that stay for at least a day serve their purpose. Its common for stitches to become loose and come out within 1 or 2 days. So there is nothing to worry. Do continue your warm salt water rinse and take a painkiller if there is any pain. Meet your dentist as scheduled to take off the remaining stitches.
Reply:no I swallowed mine in my sleep about the fifth day, If your still feeling pain then take your pain medication.
Reply:i had my wisdom teeth out on monday... i don't know what happened to my stiches but they disappeared sometime in the last 36 hours...
as to whether its bad... i don't think so
but if it is we're in the same boat

My 6month old chi is losing her baby teeth and does not want to eat?
Is that normal? She lays around to house more when she use to run around all the time. can any one help.
My 6month old chi is losing her baby teeth and does not want to eat?
Toy dogs often have problems eating when they start teething and do well if served a softer food. If you have been using kibble, just dribble a little boiling hot water over the kibble and cover for a couple minutes. When you uncover, use your fingers to bring the kibble from the bottom of the dish to the top.
This is also a good time to bring a cow hoove from the pet store as a chew toy to help bring those baby teeth out. The flavor and smell of the hoove is very appealing to dogs--but pretty gross to us.
Toy dogs often retain puppy teeth too long--causing the puppy teeth to interfere with the adult teeth coming down. You can take a 6 month puppy to the vet for removal of front puppy teeth--thus allowing all the adults to come in properly. There may not even be anesthesia involved. Be sure to ask if they use Isoflurane gas for anesthesia as the recovery time is nearly instant for puppy dentals. It may cost you $20-40 dollars.
Reply:not eating could be a sign of parvo. I would reccomend taking her for a check up at the vet to be sure and feeding soft food.
Reply:Loss of appetite is usually a symptom of some kind of issue. I would take her to the vet just in case.
Reply:Take her in to see the vet.
Reply:by 6 mos old her teeth should be almost out and all adult teeth in. If she hasn't lost her K-9 teeth (big pointies in front) This could be the problem. It also could be something else though. If it doesn't get better I would take to vet. Not eating is also a sign of worms. Puppies always get worms so if you haven't wormed her properly this could be an issue as well.

Im losing enamel on my teeth??help?
im 27 yrs old.and i have like white marks at the top of some of my teeth and the dentist said it is the enamel coming off my teeth.has this ever happened to any1 u kno or urself?what do i do about it?
Im losing enamel on my teeth??help?
Use Colgate total, and use that toothpaste that helps the enamel. I forgot the name of it, but look in Wal-Mart it's there.
Reply:I'm 38 and just noticed this happening on 2 of my teeth at the top near the gum.
Are you using a soft or extra soft toothbrush? That will slow it down, but there's not much you can do for the existing loss, according to my dentist.
Reply:Enamel comes off your teeth when you use whitening products, so make sure you don't use any of those.
Reply:It happened to me and I have no idea how to stop it and I'm only going on 13. Most of the enamel was missing when I got my teeth and what there was peeled off in like no time. I swear my teeth were rotten when they came in, and I had quite a few pulled already. I can't wait to just get rid of the rest like when I was a little kid. I had all my first teeth pulled out when I was almost 3 but I don't remember that. I just remember not havin teeth til 3rd grade. At least then they won't be hurting and have chunks breaking off all the time.
Reply:Go see a Licensed Clinical Psychologist and get into treatment for your bulimia.
Reply:Your are looking at expensive procedure of full mouth rehabilitation in which almost all your teeth are addressed with crowns and veneers. Search for:- affordable hollywood dream smile full mouth rehabilitation.
Reply:The answer above is reasonably right but without a proper consult not possible to tell. Quite possible you may need veneers for front teeth and crowns for back teeth. If all your teeth are affected, you of course are looking at full mouth reconstruction.

I am constantly dreaming about my teeth fallling out or losing my false teeth?
this is a problem with false teeth, they tend to fall out!!
Reply:I read somewhere once it means you are scared of getting old.
Reply:Loosing teeth means loss of energy in your daily life, exhaustion, etc. It may show problems with family members (roots). Such dream indicates that you must take better care of yourself, eat healthy, exercise, and make life changes that would make you happy.
Reply:I too have had this dream many times. Very strange isn't it!
I come to find that Maybe it means, that you feel like your losing something, something that your very attached to.
Reply:if you keep them clean and take care of them you should not have to worry about them falling out..
Reply:Popularly teeth are supposed to stand for aggressive sexuality - although more properly they signify the growth process towards sexual maturity. Teeth falling out easily indicates we are aware of going through some transition, similar to that from childhood to maturity or from maturity to old age and helplessness. If there is anxiety about teeth falling out it suggests fear of getting old and undesirable or anxiety about maturity. If a woman swallows teeth it signifies pregnancy.

Can I help my cat when she's losing her baby teeth?
My cat is about 6 months, and she just lost one of her front incisors while we were playing. Since she bit me when it came out, I noticed she is bleeding a little bit. Is there anything that I can do for her ... she doesn't appear to be in pain, but she's a little freaked out and I can't tell if the bleeding is going to be awhile. Any help would be great, thank you advance.
Can I help my cat when she's losing her baby teeth?
ignore the above poster, cats do in fact have baby teeth.
Most kittens lose their teeth while feeding, and swallow them, so you never actually see them lose them, but playing rough does it as well. Unless there is a large amount of blood that won't clot, don't worry about it. If the cat seems to be in pain, starts acting strange, or the bleeding doesn't stop, contact your vet.
If you are worried about it, you can open up it's mouth and take a look as well, make sure it wasn't a broken tooth, or see if it cut the inside of it's mouth. in most cases vet care isn't necessary though, kitties at that age are pretty resilient :p
Reply:as my grandma would say, use a dab of rum.
Reply:take her to a vet, he will know what to do :) there is an online vet: http://www.purinaone.com/online_vet.asp
Reply:VET?!
Reply:Nope - don't need to do a thing for kitty. In fact, if you look you'll probably see her adult incisor coming in. Cute! She'll be just fine.
Reply:Well, golly darn. Didn't know they had the things.

Reply:cats lose their baby teeth and its usually uneventful. The bleeding should stop in a few minutes. In the meantime spend some quiet time together and be calm and play gently. Feed canned food a day or 2 to rest the area. Check it for redness. Its going to be fine.
Reply:It doesn't really bother them that much. I've had four cats and barely ever noticed they were loosing their baby teeth until I'd find them on the floor. It might bleed a little, that's natural. It might have freaked her out because she was playing and only fell out because she bit down on you. Most will fall out naturally or while she's eating. if their is a lot of blood see a vet but otherwise she should be fine. Maybe leave her a few toys she likes to chew on. Try sticking one in the frig so it is cold for her to bite on. I don't suggest canned food like the person above me because once they try it a lot of cats will never want dry food again and wet food is a big pain.
Reply:i have never heard of cat or a dog losing their teeth take the kitty to the vet
Reply:All kittens have baby teeth and usually start losing them between 3 and 6 months of age. Relax - tt's a normal part of kittenhood. She's probably "a little freaked out" because you are. The bleeding should be minimal. It shouldn't slow her down one bit and feeding her usual food is fine.
Like previous posters have commented, you usually don't even know it's happened!
Reply:i was the same way but it is normal. My would get my cats straws (like 100) when I would go to fast food places for free and they love to chew on them. Try that it will be nice for her to have plus put some ice in her water bowl it will numb her gums.
Cats are very good at hiding pain. Even if their hurt its hard for us to ever know just bc they dont show it. But this is normal all cats go through it, they are ok. You may notice her sleeping a lot. When they teeth they sleep A LOT. That is really what helps the pain and new growing.
ANd their called milking teeth same thing as baby teeth and yes THEy do have them for the person who said they dont and yes they do come out and their adult teeth grow in. DOnt go to the vet its normal, lol.
Reply:Check the bottom of their food bowls. I have found several baby teeth there. I kept them as a kid, and even got the tooth fairy to leave me a quarter and my kitty a new toy.
Your kitty is fine and think of this as a few extra days of one less tooth mark embedded in your skin. Soon she will have all new teeth to chew on you with.
Reply:I get nervous, too, but the cat is fine. Since they don't usually fall out in such a dramatic way, you and kitty must have been startled.
I tend to run to the vet- simply because they have the best info. This is easier if you have a reasonable vet who doesn't overcharge (like mine). But you may not want to make a separate trip, so next time you go for an exam write down all your questions so you're prepared and have a discussion about how kitty will develop and what you need to do. So cute! Good luck.

Is losing all ur teeth the worst thing that can happen to u?
NO!!!
For example, I watched my first wife die, and my mom, and even my kid brother (June 2007) die of cancer.
Is losing all ur teeth the worst thing that can happen to u? NO, your sins are worse!!!
Missing teeth can be substituted with dentures. Like they say, "You can't take it with you"
Please let me explain. This is a true story...
I lost teeth in a nightmare.
When I woke up, I knew it was just a dream, but losing teeth was the least of the horrors I had dreamt,
so I thought it was a true memory; until I looked in the mirror to see how bad I looked.
How we take things for granted until they're gone!
I rejoiced, and said "Praise God" (Although I was alone, I think I said it out loud to God and the angels in the room).
Then my mind leaped to another level of Thanksgiving...ALL bad stuff that happens on this sin-cursed planet will have just been a dream, when I awake to eternal reality in the after-life. PG.
The worse thing, to answer the question, is when you sin.
"You can't take it with you" includes missing teeth, not just your wealth!
Character, on the other hand, is something we actually CAN "take with us", along with loved ones.

Is losing one's teeth inevitable ?
Hell no honey! My mom and dad died in their late eighties with EVERY tooth and no mouth diseases. My mom was a big believer in check ups and flossing. They had great smiles even when they died at 85 and 89. If anyone thinks it is genetic.....they BOTH had all their teeth at death.
Is losing one's teeth inevitable ?
no. My husband's great-grandmother is 102 and still has all of hers. Just take care of them.
Reply:No of course not. My Father was 81 when he died and he had all his teeth. If you clean them at least twice a day or after meals and visit the dentist on a regular basis then you could keep your teeth 'til you die!
Reply:you should not lose you teeth in your life time if you brush, floss and regular cleanings and check ups. now if you smoke crack or meth. i would say you got about 6 months. and that inevitable!!!!!
Reply:No hun it isnt. as long as you look after them you should have them all when you reach 100 or older. Unless you get some kind of gum disease, then its good look.
Reply:Only if you use NHS dentists.
Reply:No. Although dentistry has been around for thousands of years many naturally living tribes etc have very good. All starts to fail when western diets and sugars arrive on the scene - without perfect health care.
It's another urban myth that keeps the likes of dentists in $£. Just like the 1's that say that our minds/memories etc decay as we get older (notwithstanding alzheimers etc).
Your beliefs in your health will affect the health that you get. (not the only factor of course) I aim to live with positive ones.
I was scared off dentists when I was told I needed 8 fillings - I couldn't afford them. and didn't visit for about 5 years -strangely at this later point I then didn't need any. Somehow I don't think they healed up with all of my chocolate intake etc. I often rub mine over with a clean flannel during the day, as I've heard too much brushing can corrode the enamel. Got most left at 45... long way to go yet.
Reply:No it is not, but with that said, gum disease is the biggest reason for people loosing their teeth, so look after your gums as well as your teeth. And don't think that a stiff brush is better than a soft one, Its not. gentle brushing for longer is better than hard brushing for a shorter time, and you don't push your gums back, which opens you up to infection.
Good luck and keep smiling xx
Reply:Only if you visit Newcastle and say you support Sunderland.
Reply:YES
Reply:Not as long as you look after them. Sometimes when you are older teeth can fall out due to gums receding but this is rare unless you have gum disease.
As long as you visist the dentist regularly now and get any problems sorted then there is no reason why you shouldnt be able to keep your teeth.
Reply:no.
Reply:As long as you are looking after yout teeth now you will be fine. But genetics can also play a factor in tooth loss.
Reply:Absolutely NOT%26gt; Get those cleanings and take care of them.
Maintenance is important.
Reply:Well as long as the decayed areas of the teeth are now filled, and as long as you now have good oral hygiene (brush at least twice a day, floss and mouthwash), and do not smoke I can't see why your teeth will not last.
Reply:Nope. My great-gandmother died when she was 97 with all of her teeth, so yes, it is very possible to have all your own teeth forever!

At what age do children begin losing there baby teeth?
My son is four (will be 5 in August), and has a loose tooth. Barely loose, but loose. Is this too early? About a year ago he hit this tooth when he and his father were playing, and it has always been a little darker than the rest. Any information is appreciated.
At what age do children begin losing there baby teeth?
There will be another to take it's place, dont worry. My daughter had 2 front teeth accidently knocked out at 5 and one recently just grew in at age 7 1/2.
Reply:I don't think that is too early. All children are different. My daughter started losing hers about 5. I have heard it depends on if they got their teeth early or late but I don't know how true that is. That tooth could have been slightly injured from hitting it but his new one should come in fine. Good luck to you.
Reply:My daughter started losing her baby teeth at 4. Just make sure that a dentist checks out your son to see if his permanent tooth has any trauma to it.

Reply:My son accidentally knocked a tooth out at 5. Immediately after that they started falling out left and right. His dentist said that it was perfectly normal. Every child is different, but I wouldn't worry if I was you.

Reply:5 or 6, my oldest boys just lost his first tooth and he is 6, but he had a full grown tooth coming in behind it already. He has 3 others that are very loose.

How can I whiten my teeth without losing any enamel?
Besides brushing.
How can I whiten my teeth without losing any enamel?
Whitening of the teeth can tend to cause some temporary sensitivity, but otherwise if you use a reputable product and follow the directions your enamel should not be damaged. The whitening agent used in most products has been used in dentistry for a long time and has a long record of safety and reliability. Using them repeatedly very often isn't necessary and should be avoided. ...Hope that helps!
Here is a post that I wrote for someone else that might be of interest....
I can say that most of my patient's have had some measure of success with the Crest Whitestrips (which cost about $20.00), some more than others. Our office uses the Supreme which are 4 times stronger than what you can get in the store (and cost $60.00), but the others will work as well but take more time and possibly more than one kit.The results are usually pretty quick, noticeable in the first few days, best in a week or longer. If you can, do yourself the favor of using them right after you get your teeth cleaned as any staining and buildup (tartar, plaque, or orthodontic cement) will impede their ability to work. They will not whiten any white fillings you may have, but whiten uniformly. Also, don't use fluoride toothpaste before putting the strips on (same reason). You should not drink or eat anything dark for at least 1/2 hour after using the strips.
The strips/trays are your least costly whitening method as compared to custom made trays or in office whitening ($500.00+) All of the methods (strips, trays, custom trays, in office whitening) have the potential to make your teeth temporarily sensitive, but will not harm the enamel. If you get sensitive use the product every other day in conjunction with a sensitive tooth toothpaste. You might try to drink dark liquids through a straw and don't smoke. Most whitening toothpastes just remove stain on the surfaces of your teeth and therefore are not so effective. Whatever method you use it will not whiten your teeth for life, as you age your teeth will get darker and may need to be whitened again.
Good luck!

Reply:Here are many ways that you can whitening your teeth!
For home remedies.
Mix baking soda and hydrogen peroxide to form toothpaste. Brush the teeth regularly with this paste. It will remove all stains in a month.
Use bicarbonate of soda 5 minutes before brushing the teeth with normal toothpaste in the morning. This is a good home remedy for teeth whitening.
Rubbing the bark of walnut tree on the teeth helps in removing all stains from the teeth.
Strawberries are considered natural teeth whiteners. Rubbing the teeth with strawberries daily will remove all the stains.

Good luck!

Reply:They all will hurt your enamel. The best thing to do is go to a dentist and get it done. Good one is ZOOM. Last a long time (years) and you don't have to do every day...week...month like the others.

Reply:use the listerine dissolving strips.
Reply:Eat chewing gum that brightens the teeth. See add on any indian channel for name :) I think it ends with bright.
Reply:theres a new product out by crest called whitening strips that works almost exactly like listerine breath strips except you put them on your teeth they stick there for a few hours until they dissolve steadily whitening your teeth

What's worse: losing your two front teeth or losing your pet?
I don't believe in calling our non-human family members "pets". That being said, I think you know that I would gladly give every tooth in my mouth if it would save the life of one of my loved ones.
What's worse: losing your two front teeth or losing your pet?

Is there such a thing as phantom pain after losing one's teeth?
My DH was complaining of pain today---the area is where they pulled all of his teeth last summer. Should he be having any kind of pain there now?
Is there such a thing as phantom pain after losing one's teeth?
oh yes, definately! My dentist said that it takes about 3 months for the bone and root connection of where a tooth is removed to heal, but some people can sometimes have phantom pain. I had 8 teeth removed 18 months ago and on spot still has a twinge of pain now and then -- but my dentist did do an xray there to make sure that there was no bone chips or other problems at the site, so get it checked and then if there is no problem I guess, like me you will have to accept that you really really really miss having real teeth...
Reply:It's possible. When I had several teeth removed, the Doc said if i had any pain that he could go back and do something to the remaining nerve endings. It could also be referred pain from the sinus cavity.

I had a dream that im losing all my teeth?
ive had a recurring dream that all my teeth become loose and start falling out?
and yes , yes i brush and floss everyday :)
I had a dream that im losing all my teeth?
That's one of the most classic symbolism in dreams its insecurity fear of losing permanence, instability in your life. there's something in your life you're worried about and feel insecure or unstable about. Address that situation if you can and you'll be okay. I don't know what those first 6 or so people are talking about (i didn't read them all) but they're off. Don't worry about your teeth dude, this is classic symbolism for fear of losing stability and permanence in life.

it simply means that you like and care for your teeth and it is a fear of them to fall out.
Reply:I had that dream for awhile too. Its pretty weird...

Reply:Its only a dream. Eat some form of peanuts every day and your teeth will stay in forever.

-you will pay all your debts in a short time
Reply:I get that dream to sometimes. I read along time ago in a very good dream interpetation book that dreaming that we are loosing our teeth means losses.
( usually finances). but also having to give up something that you never thought you would have to. such as a job or career you are pursueing.

I have this dream ALL the time too!
If you believe in the psychoanalyst kind of stuff or dream analysis then I have heard it means that
1.) You are afraid of getting old
2.) You have a fear of embarrassing yourself
3.) You have a fear of being unattractive
Personally, I think my dreams of loosing my teeth stem from memories of being a child and loosing my baby teeth. Loosing teeth as a kid is a huge milestone and my brain is still remembering and reliving the experience in my dreams possibly.
Also, it might be due to grinding your teeth in your sleep: hearing and feeling your teeth click together or grind might sway the dream to thoughts of teeth and loosing them.
My dreams of loosing my teeth also increased after I got my wisdom teeth extracted. Although I was drugged up, I am perhaps remembering or reliving the experience of getting those babies yanked out of my head.

Reply:I have that dream frequently. I have heard several variations on it's meaning but I recently came to my own conclusion about it. First I heard that it could be a fear of aging.
Then I heard that it means that there is something I dislike about myself.
Then recently when I woke up with a headache (this happens once in a while anyways) and my teeth were very sore, I realized that I was grinding my teeth. When I realized that, I also realized that I have been doing this for a really long time, not only when I sleep but during the day without even realizing it. Now that I am aware of the fact that I grind my teeth, I seem to have stopped having the dreams. It is however very hard to stop myself from grinding even though I'm more aware of it. Good Luck!

i lost my first tooth when i was 6 too, i am now 14 and i have only lost... i think it is... 16 teeth, which means i have laods of milk teeth left.
want to know something more weird? my brother is almost 17 and has lost less teeth than me.. he has only lost about 10 milk teeth.

Reply:My sister has just turned 5 and she lost her bottom tooth about a month ago now. If you are worried go and get her teeth checked out at the dentist.
Reply:that's about right in the middle of the age range when they start to fall out - its when they wont fall out that it becomes an issue. Also be prepared for the adult teeth to take a while to grow through - my girls eye teeth fell out last summer and only one has started to poke through and according to my dentist that's normal too x

My 5mnth Old Yorkie is losing her front teeth, is this something to be concerned about?
She likes to chew on things, her rubber toys etc. The lower front row is all out, no sign of teeth growing back, im very converned, what action should I take and should I be very worried?
My 5mnth Old Yorkie is losing her front teeth, is this something to be concerned about?
puppy`s are like children they lose there baby teeth and get adult teeth that is what is happening. My puppy is doing the same thing no need to be concerned.
Reply:Depends. Puppies DO lose their milk teeth. Just like children lose their baby teeth. If these are her milk teeth then there is no problem.
Reply:It sounds as though maybe your fur baby got them knocked out? I don't think dogs lose large sections of teeth all at the same time, they are usually one at a time. My dog only lost one at a time and I could barely ever tell where it came from. To be honest, if it was me, I wouldn't take a lot of advice from people on here, I'd take my baby to the vet just to make sure things are OK. No offense to people on here, my dogs health is just too precious because he IS my child. Good luck.

At what age do kids start losing their baby teeth, front ones first?
My son is 5 1/2 yo. and he has a loose front tooth, it is also more forward of the rest of his teeth,it's on the bottom.
At what age do kids start losing their baby teeth, front ones first?
losing temporary /milk /baby teeth by 5 1/2 yrs old is normal, expect temporary teeth falling off till he reaches 11 yrs old.
if the permanent tooth that erupts are only 1-2mm away form the temporary teeth, it is still negligible, however if it more than that, i suggest you see a dentist for proper diagnosis.
Reply:Kids lose their baby teeth proportionally to when the got them. My kids both started late (10 - 101/2 months) for their first teeth. Therefore, they started losing them late. If your son got his baby teeth early, then he could be losing them early. Also, they tend to lose the bottom middle first since these are usually the first to come in. If he's over 5 he should have already seen a dentist; if not, make an appointment and ask.
Reply:Most children will lose their first tooth around age 5-6. However, anywhere between 4 and 7 is possible.
Reply:i would say around age 5-6 thats when i started to loose mine.

Is my kitten losing his baby teeth?
Tonight my kitten started sticking out his tongue and it made this grinding noise like teeth. He drive heaved when I put my finger in his mouth to make sure he didnt have something stuck in there and there was blood. He is about 6-7 months. Could he possibly be teething? He doesn't seem to be in any pain. He is still playing just looks like something is bothering his mouth.
Is my kitten losing his baby teeth?
could be losing baby teeth but also check for string around the base of the tongue.
Reply:it's probaly losing a BABY TEETH n will grow child teeth hehe..
wut's d diffrence?
Reply:Your kitty is in the age bracket where they lose their baby teeth. Most of the time you won't find the teeth because they come out while eating and are just swallowed. Also take a flashlight and shine it in your kitty's mouth just to make sure there isn't somthing else going on like a string or thorn.
Reply:My cat does that when he accidentally gets a hair caught in his mouth. Haven't you ever half-swallowed a hair and gagged trying to get it out? Not a pleasant experience, but it should go away.
He might also have an ingrown tooth. Does he paw at his mouth? If he starts doing that, stop him and take him to a vet when you have time. He isn't old enough to control his claws yet and he could scratch himself pretty badly. My cat did that, too.
Another problem to consider: My sister's cat had gingivitis and started behaving similarly. It's easy to prevent, you just have to brush his teeth. They make special toothpaste and toothbrushes for cats.
Reply:yeah it sounds like losin baby teeth i have 7 cats of my own ages from 13yrs to 5 months and they all did that at that age

Dreaming about losing and decaying teeth?
I keep having dreams where my teeth are either loose and decaying, or they just fall out. I heard this has to do with your self esteem level, does anyone know if thats true or what it does mean? Thanks!
Dreaming about losing and decaying teeth?
To dream that you have rotten or decaying teeth, forewarns that your health and/or business is in jeopardy. You may have uttered some false or foul words and those words are coming back to haunt you.
Reply:I've heard that from many ppl too
Reply:I have had dreams with the same theme. When I looked it up it said that it has something to do with lying. Either to yourself or someone else. Hope this helps =)
Reply:In general, dreams about losing one's teeth are common and suggest the dreamer feels powerless or out of control in a real life situation. Here are some more meanings for dreams about teeth:
To dream of loose teeth is a warning of untrustworthy friends.
If your teeth fell out or you spit them out, you are anxious about money.
bottom link tells you everything you need to know ; ).
Reply:Dreams are a continuation of your waking thoughts. While asleep your subconscious is patching together images that evoke the same emotions you feel while awake.
Losing or decaying teeth could have something to do with self-image issues. A person's smile is at the forefront of one's image. Damage on the facade could mean that the dreamer may be feeling a lessening of self-image -- a dwindling of aesthetic features.
It is possible that the dreamer could be feeling less pretty especially when in a group of beautiful people.
It is also possible that the dreamer could be becoming a bit insecure especially when younger and prettier people are around.
Reply:I have these kinds of dreams repetitively as well, and I've looked it up in many different dream dictionary's.
The most common answers that I get from dream dictionarys is that a) there is someone in your life that you don't trust, b) you have self-esteem issues, and c) you are overly concerned or stressed about your appearance or what people think about you.
These dreams are really freaky, and sometimes even scary...
The best advice that I can give you on what these dreams mean to you is to really sit down and think about them. think about what you see and feel, the emotions that come out, exactly what happens in the dream before during and after your teeth become loose or fall out. The same dream can mean different things to different people.
Reply:I've heard two things:
1.you're letting go of something
2.untrustworthy friends
Reply:For some reason, this is one of the most common universal dreams. Almost everyone has this dream on occasion. The dream is about fear of losing control of one's life. Having teeth is associated with biting, ie defending yourself, getting what you want (a bite of the pie), keeping undesirable people and things away (baring your teeth). In this dream, you feel you are having difficulty in these areas. The dream is not about ill-health, since perfectly healthy people have it. It's related to self-esteem in the sense that self-confidence helps you deal with life. But when life suddenly seems very stressful, and you're not sure you can cope with everything that's coming at you, you will tend to have this dream. It's one of those dreams that serves another purpose -- you are so relieved when you wake up! And thus you are reminded that in fact you CAN deal with the situation, your teeth are NOT falling out. In a way, then, this is not a bad dream. It reflects worry but also is a reminder that in fact we are nowhere near as helpless as we may fear, and we can in fact cope.
Reply:To dream that you have rotten or decaying teeth, forewarns that your health or business is in jeopardy. or you said something wrong to someone and grief will come to you soon you could hear of a death that will touch you deeply

My puppy is losing alot of teeth at once, is that normal?
She jus started losing them this week, but she lost 4 in 2 days. Surprisingly i found them all. But i am concerned if thats too many, or if i should change her food to a soft diet or what? This is my first puppy. Shes yorkie and chiwawa. Any info you can give would be very helpful. By the way, is this process painful for her??
My puppy is losing alot of teeth at once, is that normal?
Yep that's why they call 'empuppy teeth. Very normal; those sharp little needles fall out and their adult teeth grow in, just like with human kids.
Does not appear to hurt. I used to find them all over the house when Samson (my dachshund) was teething. A piece of rawhide netted us three teeth in one day. I seemed to always find them with the vacuum as well; instead of sucking them up it would shoot them at my shins.
She may appreciate some good chew toys, nylabones, hard rubber kongs, to help work the teeth out. The new adult teeth are pushing up from underneath and should appear shortly.
DO NOT switch to moist or soft food; that's really bad for their teeth. A quality dry kibble like canidae is best for her.
Reply:Losing her teeth so quickly is normal. She is teething. Puppies lose their "baby" teeth and get adult teeth, which are bigger and not quite as sharp. You do not need to change her diet, but she may need a lot of things to chew on right now to alleviate the pain in her gums. Like human babies, puppies' gums hurt when they are teething. You can get her a puppy Kong at the pet store and fill it with soft dog food and then freeze it before giving it to her. She may also like the Chilli Bone. You wet it with water and then freeze it before giving it to her.
There are also teething toys that you can get that do not require anything special. Look in the toy aisle at the pet store or ask an associate.
Reply:she might of lost more usually dogs swallow there loose teeth my german shepherd lost around 5 in a week maybe more, but dont worry its common 4 dogs 2 loose their teeth they r losing their puppy teeth 2 grow their dog teeth
Reply:i dont think its painful, might be irritating though. as long as her gums look nice and pink and healthy i dont think its a problem.
Reply:very normal! and not painful
Reply:She's fine Mommy/Daddy, most times you won't find them as they are ate with what she chews. nothing big, every puppy goes through this.
Reply:I agree with ERINSUZY, but if you don't have a chilly bone, you can give her ice cubes, some dogs love them and it will have the same anesthetic effect, plus something to play with.

Who can help my daughter who has MS pay for $10,000 of desperately needed dental work? She is losing her teeth
Her dental problems are making her MS worse.
Who can help my daughter who has MS pay for $10,000 of desperately needed dental work? She is losing her teeth
There are two different financing plans that are available as well. I have worked front office as well as back in a Dental clinic, and have personally worked with both companies. They are specifically designed to help with dental financing. I know this is a difficult time and the cost of it makes it that much harder to deal with, but the people there are genuinely there to help. I have worked with Capitol Once on many many cases similar to this. There are also grants available through the MS foundations that may be able to help as well, but I believe these are localized so you may have to get in touch with your local resources. Good luck with this hun, I pray for the best. I've seen patients come through with MS and it is not an easy thing to deal with at all. The patients have a very difficult time dealing with everything all at once.
Reply:Check with a dental school. Also check with dentists in your area maybe they could give a price break and put you on a payment plan? Doesn't hurt to ask.
Check with the Multiple Sclerosis Society. Maybe there is help there.
Reply:I don't know what area you are in but most big cities have a dental school that will do the work for basically nothing or based on her income. My daughter is low income and had a lot of work done at the University of Detroit dental school. They did excellent work. It was a long drive but well worth it. Good Luck.

Reply:Write to the ADA and ask who has been granted funds in your area. If your daughter qualifies then you can go to the local Dentist who accepts the grant.
Also check with the MS Foundation, they might also be able to direct you.

Reply:What is the specific dental treatment she requires. You should get a copy of the dental treatment which should be listed in sequence (from immediate, emergency work which stabilizes the mouth), to more intermediate and long term care. In some states, dental care for child and adults is available through Medicaid, a federal-state program designed to provide medical assistance for persons with low household income. Information about this program can be obtained from your state or county department of public welfare. You should contact them to see, presenting the treatment plan to see if you qualify. While state funded programs has l;imitations on the type of dental work that is performed, the important thing is to stabilize what is already going on so that further damage is prevented. If you do not qualify for this type of aid, I would suggest using the services of a dental school and work slowly with them to first 1)stabilize the mouth - ask for a payment plan for this section only. Then see if you can get some grants or participate in research programs related to your childs need. Learn more about how to get free dental work here: http://www.dentalclinicmanager.com/disco...
Joining a dental plan is also a great idea. You pay for a significantly discounted dental fee with a dentist who has contracted with the plan to provide care to you. I personally use the services of Dentalplan.com and with a promotional coupon code (vote25), saved an additional 25% off the $119.00 cost. The rates are too good to be true. You can even review the fees you would pay and the dentists who are in your area before you join the plan. You can learn more here: http://www.dentalplans.com/afftracker.as...
