My daughter just turned 6 years old, at what age do they begin losing the baby teeth?

Hi

Your daughter will probably shed her lower central incisors first at 6-7 years.

To see a cute animation from the American Dental Association about tooth shedding go to this link

My daughter just turned 6 years old, at what age do they begin losing the baby teeth?
My son just lost his first baby tooth a month ago, he will be six in January.
Reply:Don't you remember the tooth fairy? They lose their baby teeth from 5-12 years old.
Reply:everyone is different but i have seen kids start as early as 4 1/2 and as late as 8
Reply:My son is almost 8, and he has only lost 2 of his baby teeth. He lost the first one when he was 7. However, my nephew who is almost 7 has already lost 5 of his baby teeth.

It is all very individual, and according to my son's dentist, there is no cause for concern, because some kids don't lose their last baby teeth until they are 10.

:-)
Reply:The average age of children losing their teeth is when they are five or six years old
Reply:My son had the strongest baby teeth ever, unbelievable roots. He was about your daughter's age when he noticed teeth coming in behind his baby teeth. Short answer, all of his baby teeth had to be pulled at various times by the dentist. I think it varies from child to child. Ask your child to let you know if a tooth feels loose or if she feels teeth trying to come in behind.
Reply:anytime now if she has good healthy teeth it might be later like 8. my oldest daughter is 25 and still has 1 baby tooth up front. no adult tooth to replace it though, she really has to take care of it.
Reply:ALL KIDS ARE DIFFERENT BUT BOTH MY SONS STARTED LOSING TEETH AT 4 1/2 MY SOON IS NOW 7 AND HAS JUST LOST HIS 8TH TOOTH AND MY 5 YEAR OLD IS ON HIS 3RD AND FOURTH
