about 6 weeks ago, my sons, two middle, bottom adult teeth appeared but he is yet to lose his baby teeth!they are vaguley beginning to wobble but i am worried he ight end up getting crooked teeth.it is causing him no pain at present.
What happens if your child grows new teeth before losing their baby teeth?
This is actually pretty common in the pediatric patient population. In my practice we tend to give it a little while and see if the tongue pushes the adult teeth forward which will loosen the baby teeth. If they don't ever get loose enough to come out on their own we will extract them. The trick is keeping them clean, lots of brushing so the gums don't get very irritated. Chewy foods and lots of wiggling those teeth for your son to do.
Good luck!

Reply:That happened to me. You need to rip the baby teeth out now, or get a dentist to do it. ;)
Reply:We used to just wait for the adult tooth to push the baby tooth out, but now a days dentists will pull them to make room for the new tooth. I guess it depends on if you have ins. or can afford a dentist.
Reply:Same thing happened to me when I was younger. You should have the dentist pull the baby teeth out or the adult teeth could grow over them and look like fangs. This could cost you a pretty penny later on when you have to get your child braces when he is old enough. Hope this helps..
