Toy dogs often have problems eating when they start teething and do well if served a softer food. If you have been using kibble, just dribble a little boiling hot water over the kibble and cover for a couple minutes. When you uncover, use your fingers to bring the kibble from the bottom of the dish to the top.

This is also a good time to bring a cow hoove from the pet store as a chew toy to help bring those baby teeth out. The flavor and smell of the hoove is very appealing to dogs--but pretty gross to us.

Toy dogs often retain puppy teeth too long--causing the puppy teeth to interfere with the adult teeth coming down. You can take a 6 month puppy to the vet for removal of front puppy teeth--thus allowing all the adults to come in properly. There may not even be anesthesia involved. Be sure to ask if they use Isoflurane gas for anesthesia as the recovery time is nearly instant for puppy dentals. It may cost you $20-40 dollars.
Reply:not eating could be a sign of parvo. I would reccomend taking her for a check up at the vet to be sure and feeding soft food.
Reply:Loss of appetite is usually a symptom of some kind of issue. I would take her to the vet just in case.
Reply:Take her in to see the vet.
Reply:by 6 mos old her teeth should be almost out and all adult teeth in. If she hasn't lost her K-9 teeth (big pointies in front) This could be the problem. It also could be something else though. If it doesn't get better I would take to vet. Not eating is also a sign of worms. Puppies always get worms so if you haven't wormed her properly this could be an issue as well.
