My kitten started having accidents outside the litterbox, and a little bit after they started I found one tooth nestled in her fur and she dropped another in my palm. She is around four months old, so I assume this is just her losing her baby teeth, but I'm wondering if she's having accidents due to any pain or discomfort she's feeling from teething?

I don't think there's any connection. Baby (milk) teeth have no roots, so there is no pain when they come out.
She may be having accidents outside the litterbox for the same reason that some children who had been potty-trained start having accidents when they're a little older and more active -- they get so involved with playing that they don't realize that they have to "go" and the bathroom (litterbox) is so far away, and....
You might be able to prevent the accidents by putting her in her litterbox every hour or so, just to remind her,
Reply:I've never had a kitten experience litterbox problems due to teething. I don't think the two things are related. She needs to be retrained to the box. If you suspect any illness, take her to the vet.
Reply:I've never heard of a correlation between teething and inapropriate pottying in cats. You might want to call and check with your vet just to be sure though. Usually inapropriate urination or evacuation around the house is one of the first signs that something else is going on. I would just start with a phone call just to double check.

Reply:They have pain just as we do but can't complain. Ice shaving to lick helps the gums .Rub her jaws a little. They don't chew on things like dogs for teething .
