Dreaming about losing and decaying teeth?

I keep having dreams where my teeth are either loose and decaying, or they just fall out. I heard this has to do with your self esteem level, does anyone know if thats true or what it does mean? Thanks!

Dreaming about losing and decaying teeth?
To dream that you have rotten or decaying teeth, forewarns that your health and/or business is in jeopardy. You may have uttered some false or foul words and those words are coming back to haunt you.
Reply:I've heard that from many ppl too
Reply:I have had dreams with the same theme. When I looked it up it said that it has something to do with lying. Either to yourself or someone else. Hope this helps =)
Reply:In general, dreams about losing one's teeth are common and suggest the dreamer feels powerless or out of control in a real life situation. Here are some more meanings for dreams about teeth:

To dream of loose teeth is a warning of untrustworthy friends.

If your teeth fell out or you spit them out, you are anxious about money.

Reply:Dreams are a continuation of your waking thoughts. While asleep your subconscious is patching together images that evoke the same emotions you feel while awake.

Losing or decaying teeth could have something to do with self-image issues. A person's smile is at the forefront of one's image. Damage on the facade could mean that the dreamer may be feeling a lessening of self-image -- a dwindling of aesthetic features.

It is possible that the dreamer could be feeling less pretty especially when in a group of beautiful people.

It is also possible that the dreamer could be becoming a bit insecure especially when younger and prettier people are around.
Reply:I have these kinds of dreams repetitively as well, and I've looked it up in many different dream dictionary's.

The most common answers that I get from dream dictionarys is that a) there is someone in your life that you don't trust, b) you have self-esteem issues, and c) you are overly concerned or stressed about your appearance or what people think about you.

These dreams are really freaky, and sometimes even scary...

The best advice that I can give you on what these dreams mean to you is to really sit down and think about them. think about what you see and feel, the emotions that come out, exactly what happens in the dream before during and after your teeth become loose or fall out. The same dream can mean different things to different people.
Reply:I've heard two things:

1.you're letting go of something

2.untrustworthy friends
Reply:For some reason, this is one of the most common universal dreams. Almost everyone has this dream on occasion. The dream is about fear of losing control of one's life. Having teeth is associated with biting, ie defending yourself, getting what you want (a bite of the pie), keeping undesirable people and things away (baring your teeth). In this dream, you feel you are having difficulty in these areas. The dream is not about ill-health, since perfectly healthy people have it. It's related to self-esteem in the sense that self-confidence helps you deal with life. But when life suddenly seems very stressful, and you're not sure you can cope with everything that's coming at you, you will tend to have this dream. It's one of those dreams that serves another purpose -- you are so relieved when you wake up! And thus you are reminded that in fact you CAN deal with the situation, your teeth are NOT falling out. In a way, then, this is not a bad dream. It reflects worry but also is a reminder that in fact we are nowhere near as helpless as we may fear, and we can in fact cope.
Reply:To dream that you have rotten or decaying teeth, forewarns that your health or business is in jeopardy. or you said something wrong to someone and grief will come to you soon you could hear of a death that will touch you deeply
Reply:a few years ago i ad dreams like this i had three dreams of my teeth getting knocked out and spitting them out they were all different dreams but i spit out teeth in all of them , it was weird and i remember when waking i would always check and make sure they were there, so i did alot of research on this and found out that that dream mean someone in your family is either going to be very sick or die, i know that doesnt sound good, but a week or two after my dreams my uncle died, then a year later i had the dreams again and my cousin only 5 yrs old found out he had pollups and had to have surgury, but didnt die, i had a dream like that a few weeks ago now, so im kinda scared, the two time i had the dreams something bad happened, i dont know how dreams can predict thing or if it was a coincidence but the research i did said it would happen and it did so good luck
